The event will take place from September 6-7 in Malta and follows the recent appearance of the company’s Head of Game Integrity and Risk Tania Johannisson as a speaker at the World Game Protection Conference, held in Las Vegas.
Hosted by Westin Dragonara Resort Hotel, the upcoming conference comes as the result from the recent establishment of the EG Integrity Alliance, an exchange program between Evolution Gaming and several of its major corporate clients focused on fraudulent play intelligence.
The Live Casino provider also revealed several of the speakers that will take part in the event, with some of those being Evolution Gaming Chief Product Officer Todd Haushalter, the company’s Director of Business Development and Land-Based Sales James Stern, MGM Resorts International Vice President of Corporate Surveillance Ted Whiting, and Surveillance Technology CEO Michael Barnett. Ms. Johannisson will also appear as a speaker at the conference.
Commenting on the upcoming event, she said in a statement that it is intended to provide gambling operators with much-needed information and share intelligence with them so as for all concerned parties to keep themselves “one step ahead of advantage players” who are ready to use all available means to defraud both operators and providers of online gambling solutions. Game Integrity and Risk Conference is the first alliance and networking initiative to take place as part of the EG Integrity Alliance’s agenda of activities.
The announcement about the Game Integrity and Risk Conference comes only two days after Evolution Gaming posted its financial results for the second quarter and fist half of the year. Revenue for the three months ended June 30 totaled €27.1 million, up 50% year-on-year. Half-year revenue amounted to €51.9 million, reflecting a 54% increase as compared to the figure reported for the same six months of the previous year and in line with the company’s expectations for full-year revenue of over €100 million.
