Supplier of technology and content for the international gambling industry NYX Gaming Group announced that its Open Gaming System (OGS) has been launched with online gambling brand TonyBet in Estonia, Denmark, and the UK, as well as in the newly regulated Lithuanian market.
TonyBet is actually the first gambling operator to go live in Lithuania since the country’s market was regulated. Under its latest content distribution agreement, NYX Gaming is now able to deliver slot titles and table games across multiple channels through wholly owned subsidiary NextGen Gaming. In-house developed titles like Merlin’s Millions Superbet, Foxin’ Wins, Jackpot Jester 50,000, and Gorilla Go Wild have been among those to be included in the initial launch.
What is more, NYX Gaming will also deliver slots produced by third-party game development studios to TonyBet Estonia. Games will be available across both desktop and hand-held devices.
Founded in 2009 by Lithuanian poker legend Antanas Guoga, TonyBet is one of the fastest growing online gambling operators with presence in major regulated markets like the UK and Denmark, as well as in Lithuania and Estonia. Through NYX Gaming’s OGS, the brand will be able to leverage high quality online casino content produced by internationally recognized developers.
Commenting on the deal, NYX Gaming EVP Business Development David Flynn said that they are delighted to be launching casino offering as the first major provider to be approved and certified to enter the Lithuanian online gambling market. Mr. Flynn further noted that the agreement has secured his company with yet another strong partner that will help it extend its reach in more regulated jurisdictions around the world.
TonyBet CEO Ugnius Šimelionis commented that they have been working on launching online casino offering for the regulated Lithuanian market for some time now and that they are really happy to be partnering with NYX Gaming for the purpose. Mr. Šimelionis also pointed out that the partnership will provide his company with the chance to boost its presence in the market and to establish itself as one of the leaders there.
First titles were launched last week and according to the TonyBet CEO were received quite well by local players.
