Slovenian manufacturer and supplier of electronic table games Interblock today announced that it will acquire Elektrina, known to be Slovenia-based high technology company. Under the terms of the acquisition deal, Interblock’s parent company, INTERBLOCK d.d., will buy Elektrina’s total issued share capital. The purchase price was not disclosed.
Based in Mengeš, Slovenia, just like its new owner, Elektrina specializes in the development of electronic boards and access control solutions, providing customers across multiple industries, including energy consumption, gaming, and automation, with its offering. The company has been supplying Interblock with its entire catalog for some time now.
Commenting on the acquisition deal, Interblock Executive Director Tomaz Zvipelj said in a statement that they are proud to be announcing the deal as his company’s continues growing. Mr. Zvipelj further noted that given the increasing demand for their electronic table games, Interblock has seen potential for considerable synergies between the two companies, which resulted in their decision to join forces.
As part of the group, Elektrina will further support its future growth and global expansion, the official added.

Headquartered in Slovenia, Interblock also manages offices in the US, Canada, and Macau. Since founded in 1989, the company has been manufacturing both semi- and fully-automated, multi-player electronic gaming tables for international gambling operators. Interblock currently offers its products in over 160 jurisdictions around the world.
Earlier this year, the manufacturer announced that its new Electronic Roulette table would make its debut on Dragonara Casino’s floor, known to be Malta’s oldest gambling venue. Last month, the facility re-opened doors after the completion of a €10-million refurbishment project. The Organic Roulette platform now offers Dragonara Casino customers multi-player gambling options in different languages. What is more, players can also select their denomination of choice. A time-of-day denomination scheduling is also among the options offered.
