NYX Gaming Reveals Key Appointments

News

Provider of online casino and sports betting solutions NYX Gaming Group revealed two key appointments at a time when the company is experiencing rapid growth and expansion across regulated markets.

It was announced that Jason Walbridge is joining the supplier as its new Chief Operating Officer and Eric Matejevich is taking the Chief Financial Officer role. Both appointments have become effective immediately.

Mr. Walbridge joins NYX Gaming after spending more than 18 years at leading manufacturer of gaming machines Aristocrat. There he had served as Chief Supply Officer and Managing Director of the company’s EMEA division. As NYX Gaming’s new COO, it will be his responsibility to drive the supplier’s operating strategy across its online gaming and sports betting content, systems and business development divisions.

As for Mr. Matejevich, he had, too, accumulated quite a lot of experience in the gambling industry prior to joining NYX Gaming. As mentioned above, he is taking the reigns of the company’s financial division. Prior to joining the Canada-listed supplier as its CFO, Mr. Matejevich had spent several years on its board and had also taken a number of leadership positions at Resorts International, Atlantic Club Casino, etc. NYX Gaming announced that taking up the CFO role, Mr. Matejevich has resigned from the company’s board.

Commenting on the two new appointments, Matt Davey, CEO of the internationally recognized online gambling provider, said that both Mr. Walbridge and Mr. Matejevich are joining the company at a really exciting time when a rapid growth is registered across divisions.

NYX Gaming now offers a full suite of multi-channel products, including sports betting ones through the recent acquisition of leading sportsbook provider OpenBet. In addition to the recent expansion of its catalog of product offering, the company is also extending its reach across different regulated jurisdictions.

Of his appointment, Mr. Walbridge said that NYX Gaming’s management team has recently managed to make important breakthroughs, thus establishing the company’s leading position, and that he is looking forward to contributing to the group’s operations through the addition of more execution capabilities.

Mr. Matejevich noted that through the recent key acquisitions, the supplier has built a multi-product business and that the recently published Q2 and H1 financial results showed that it has started bearing the fruit of its endeavors. The official further dwelt that he is happy to be given the opportunity to take part in NYX Gaming’s next growth phase.
