Poker Tournaments to Start between September 19-25

This week’s upcoming poker tournament’s review includes events that are to take place on three continents and in some of the most popular poker venues. France, Germany, Uruguay, Canada, and the US – these are the five countries that will be hosting some the most exciting tournaments scheduled to begin in the week between September 19-25.

France Poker Series Season 6 Deauville

France’s most popular poker series is next going to Deauville for a six-day festival to be held at Casino Barrière de Deauville. The FPS Deauville stop is set to begin on September 20 with a satellite to the €1,100 Main Event and a €300 No-Limit Hold’em Deepstack Turbo tournament. The whole festival will feature 10 different events and several satellites to some of those.

The €1,200 Main Event will kick off on September 22 and will run through September 25. The €330 No-Limit Hold’em – FPS Deauville Cup and the €2,200 High Roller are also among the higher buy-in tournaments set to take place within the festival.

Eureka Poker Tour Season 6 Hamburg

The German city of Hamburg will welcome the Eureka Poker Tour for the next stop on its Season 6 schedule. Spielbank Schenefeld will play host to one of Europe’s major poker tours from September 23 to October 3. As many as eight different events will be featured as part of the festival, with those being No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha ones. There will also be multiple satellites to some of them.

The €1,100 Eureka Main Event will run on September 28-October 3, featuring three starting flights played over three separate days and three more days of action. The €330 Eureka Hamburg Cup is slated to begin on September 29. The tournament will run over five days, featuring three starting flights and two more days of play.

2016/2017 WPT Maryland Live!

Maryland Live! Casino in Hanover, Maryland is a popular gambling destination among US players and it being included in the WPT Main Tour schedule is barely a surprise to anyone. The casino will play host to the globally popular poker tour from September 23 through October 5. As usual, the festival will begin with satellite and side events and will gradually prepare players for the main action.

There will be 11 events to be held as part of the WPT Maryland Live! stop and more than $2 million will be distributed among the top performers in guaranteed prize money.

The $3,500 Main Event is slated to run on October 1-5 and entries will be offered a guaranteed prize pool of $1.5 million

Latin American Poker Tour Season 9 Uruguay

To many, Punta del Este in Uruguay is a lovely resort city with numerous opportunities for entertainment and recreation. This September, Punta del Este will turn into a gathering place for some of the biggest names on the Latin American and international poker scene. The city will play host to the latest LAPT Season 9 stop from September 23-27. Conrad Resort & Casino will once again be the host venue to the major poker festival. As many as 17 different events have been included in its schedule.

The $1,500 Main Event is scheduled to begin on September 23. It will feature two starting flights and three more days of play. It is also important to note that players will be able to enter the tournament as many times as they wish as it would provide them with unlimited re-entry opportunities.

2016 WPTDeepStacks Edmonton

The WPTDeepStacks will be in Edmonton, Canada from September 25 through October 10 for the next exciting festival on its schedule. Casino Yellowhead will gather under its roof everyone interested in entering any of the WPTDeepStacks tournaments that are to take place at the gambling venue. There will be seven events to be included in the schedule, with five of them being single-day ones.

The festival will be kicked off with a three-day C$550 No-Limit Hold’em tournament and will be concluded with the five-day C$1,100 Main Event. It will begin on October 6.
