Bulgarian manufacturer and distributor of products for the international gaming industry Euro Games Technology (EGT) announced that it has opened a new office in Bogota, Colombia. The company explained its expansion into the South American country with the fact that a comprehensive review of the local market has shown a strong sales potential for its gaming machines.
The new trade and service center will be led by Silviya Marinova. Ms. Marinova has more than 12 years of experience in the gambling industry. She joined EGT about this time last year.
Ms. Marinova pointed out that their participation in the 2016 FADJA Colombia proved to be a great success and further affirmed their determination to enter the country’s gambling market. The official further dwelt that EGT’s products have attracted quite a lot of attention at other major gambling exhibitions, including the Global Gaming Expo and SAGSE Panama, over recent years and this has helped the company further establish its position in the global market.
EGT’s Colombia office will provide interested customers with sales and rental services as well as spare parts and technical support. The company will be relying heavily on its slot machines and multi-player gaming devices as its main strengths in the Colombian gambling market.
As part of EGT’s expansion in the South American country, the Bulgarian manufacturer will provide 78 such multi-player machines as well as 50 Classic Premier slot cabinets to a number of casinos managed by major gambling operator Codere. The gaming devices are expected to be supplied to the operator sometime in October or November. It is also important to note that EGT has already been supplying Codere’s Panama- and Argentina-based gambling venues with its products.
The STORK terminal – a product the Bulgarian manufacturer considers very successful, will also be made available to the Colombian gambling market. The terminal in question can be configured with different types of roulette wheels, including ones run by live dealers, automated ones, and virtual ones. The product also offers a mix of video slot titles and the Jackpot Cards four-level jackpot system.
Ms. Marinova expressed confidence that their products will enrich the Colombian gambling market and will offer a different type of gaming experience to both operators and their players.
