All three will work together with the operator to promote its brand in the Asia-Pacific region and around the globe. Xuan Liu is another prominent female poker player of Asian origin, although she was born in Canada. She has made a name for herself as a skillful and profitable pro with life tournament earnings of over $1.6 million and final table appearances in EPT and PCA Main Events. Xuan Liu is also quite active on the online poker scene.
Born in the US, Dong Kim is a well-known online high stakes player with multiple accomplishments. He has proved himself as particularly proficient in online Heads-up games. Last year, Dong Kim won the SCOOP $20,000 Heads-Up tournament, generally recognized as one of the most strenuous online tournaments.
The online poker brand, which enjoys growing popularity in the Asia-Pacific region, also revealed today that it has signed Chinese poker pro and commentator Xiao Chung as a “Friend of Natural8.” Born in China, the player is well-recognized in his home country and will certainly support in promoting Natural8’s offering to local professional and recreational players. As part of his work with the online poker operator, Xiao Chung will take part in live tournaments wearing the Natural8 team patch and will share strategy tips and general poker thoughts on China’s most popular broadcasting platforms.
Xiao Chung will first appear as “Friend of Natural8” during the WPT National China festival set to start next week at MGM Grand Sanya. The player will take part in the invitational Main Event, along with 887 other entrants. The tournament is slated to run from October 28 through November 3.
