Based in Cambridge, UK, Featurespace is among the leaders in the provision of fraud prevention and risk management tools. Using Adaptive Behavioral Analytics, Featurespace’s machine learning systems spot anomalies in the behavior of each individual customer in real-time.
As part of its efforts to further boost its fraud prevention activities, Playtech will deploy its new partner’s ARIC platform. The supplier will thus aim to improve risk management, reduce fraud-related costs, and enhance revenue figures for its clients.
Playtech and Featurespace said in a joint press release that they see a good match in each other due to their pursuit of innovativeness within their respective industries. The two companies further noted that they expect their collaboration to bring positive results and feedback from both Playtech’s licensees and their players.
The supplier is not the only gambling-related company to have opted for Featurespace’s products over the years. Major bookmakers William Hill and Betfair as well as UK’s National Lottery operator – Camelot – have also been among the Adaptive Behavioral Analytics provider’s customers.
Thursday’s announcement was the latest of important events to have surrounded Playtech over the past week. The provider revealed a major multi-year deal with film studio Warner Bros. for the development of DC Entertainment-branded omni-channel casino content. Under the agreement, Playtech will develop slot, roulette, and bingo games inspired by popular DC blockbusters from recent years, including The Dark Knight Trilogy, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Suicide Squad.
The deal will also allow the gambling company to add previously announced DC-branded titles to retail terminals across the UK, Finland, Norway, Finland, Italy, and Romania.
The supplier further announced the launch of what has been promoted as the first-ever omni-channel slot. The product was rolled out exclusively across 300 Coral betting shops. The game – Tiki Paradise – will be launched across the operator’s whole retail network later in February. Being an omni-channel one, the product allows players to play in-venue, on desktop, and on their mobile devices.
It also became known that gambling operator Betfred has extended its long-running contract with the supplier beyond 2020. Under the renewed deal, the operator will be able to add the new DC-branded games to its offering, among other things.
