Nektan Marketing Services was launched back in 2015 as a joint venture between Mr. Done, Mr. Jacobs, and NEKTAN itself. Generally speaking, the business has been functioning as NEKTAN’s digital marketing arm over the past two years. Since established, it has been providing third-party customers of the mobile gaming supplier with the necessary tools and approaches for player acquisition. These include media buying, affiliate networks management, social media, SEO, paid search, and many more.
Nektan Marketing Service was fully integrated with NEKTAN’s other services and has thus been providing clients of the supplier with the opportunity to improve acquisition and retention rates at their NEKTAN-powered mobile casinos.
The marketing business originally managed campaigns for NEKTAN’s in-house iGaming brands and was later on deployed by other white-label websites, with Pots of Luck and The SUN Play being some of these.
With Mr. Done and Mr. Jacobs joining the Nektan Marketing Services joint venture, NEKTAN was able to leverage on their extensive experience in the field of acquisition and retention.
The mobile gaming provider explained in a Wednesday press release that it has decided to eventually acquire its marketing arm due to the ongoing evolution and growth of its overall business operations. NEKTAN also expressed confidence that they will be able to build on and capitalize on the accumulated knowledge base and success of Nektan Marketing Service under the guidance of Mr. Done and Mr. Jacobs.
Mr. Done is a well-known figure in the UK gambling industry. He is known to be the founder of bookmaker Betfred. The company currently manages one of the largest chains of betting shops across the nation.
As for Mr. Jacobs, he was the mastermind behind Manchester-based digital marketing company ActiveWin Media. Since founded in 2013, the company has been providing its clients with digital strategies for better acquisition.
