Nektan Enters Africa with E-Lite Casino Content Aggregator

News

Gaming technology platform and services provider Nektan today announced that it has entered the African gambling market through its E-Lite B2B content distribution platform.

Entering Africa’s rapidly growing online gambling market has been part of Nektan’s global expansion strategy.

Nektan has partnered two of the region’s leading gambling operators – Betika and BetLion, to secure its entry into Africa. The provider boasted a quick and seamless integration of its B2B platform that has enabled the two operators to complement their existing offering with hundreds of HTML5 slots and table games that are available on the E-Lite platform across both desktop and mobile devices.

Nektan’s entry into Africa marks an important milestone for the provider’s B2B division. The company’s B2B operation has attracted major international operators with its advanced technology platform and casino content. Through partnerships with a number of clients, Nektan has been able to maintain presence across multiple jurisdictions with established gambling tradition as well as in emerging markets such as Africa.

Of their latest achievement, Nektan Founder and Executive Director Gary Shaw said that Africa’s emerging gambling market “is rich with possibilities and presents us with opportunities to build our international expansion.”

Mr. Shaw went on to say that as their B2B division continues to grow, deals like the one announced today “highlight how our proprietary technology is fit for purpose in emerging markets all over the world.”

Entering Kenya

As mentioned earlier, Nektan has partnered two of the African region’s leading gambling operators. Both Betika and BetLion were among the seven gambling companies that had their licenses for the provision of gambling services in Kenya renewed by the country’s Betting Control and Licensing Board earlier this month. The two betting and gaming businesses boast significant presence in the rest of the African region, as well.

Earlier this year, Nektan’s content went live with BetVictor, one of the gambling industry’s veterans. Under the terms of a deal between the two companies, BetVictor was able to roll out Nektan content via the provider’s Open Remote Game Server.

Of their African market entry, Nektan VP Commercials Jaydeep Chakravartty said that that they are thrilled to go live with their E-Lite platform on the continent and that they were once again to efficiently integrate their content into “large scale operator networks.”

The company representative went on to say that thanks to the seamless casino games integration, Betika and BetLion will now be able to enhance their existing offering and provide their customers with a wide range of popular casino titles.

Nektan’s E-Lite casino content aggregator and bonus platform provide an array of premium content developed by some of the world’s leading game studios. In addition, clients of the company’s B2B division are provided with a number of options and the necessary flexibility to manage and distribute content across their networks and to their gambling customers.

Headquartered in Gibraltar, Nektan is licensed by local licensing authorities as well as by the UK Gambling Commission.
