Habanero Adds Casino Games Portfolio to Playtech Open Platform

News

Online slots and table games provider Habanero announced that it has joined forces with gambling tech giant Playtech to boost its content’s distribution via its new partner’s Playtech Open Platform.

Under the terms of the deal, Habanero’s full portfolio of online casino games has been made available to Playtech Open Platform clients across all devices. Habanero’s suite currently includes more than 100 slots, 13 table games, and 10 video poker titles.

As a result from its partnership with the online casino content supplier, the Playtech Open Platform will provide its network of gambling operators and their players with access to popular titles such as Colossal Gems, Mount Mazuma, and 5 Lucky Lions as well as with exciting renditions of roulette, baccarat, and video poker.

Playtech rolled out its enhanced Playtech Open Platform this past January. The solution is integrated with the tech giant’s data-driven IMS platform and allows its customers to benefit from the Playtech Engagement Centre.

Generally speaking, the Playtech Open Platform provides Playtech licensees with access to aggregate content from a number of leading game developers and suppliers and significantly simplifies third-party content aggregation.

Commenting on their partnership with Playtech, Habanero European Head of Business Development Arcangelo Lonoce, said that their new partner “boasts some of the industry’s very best content aggregation technology and we are thrilled to be a part of it.”

The company official went on that Playtech’s vast network of gambling operators will boost Habanero’s reach to more players.

Offering Operators the Highest Quality Content

James Frendo, Director of Casino at Playtech, noted that their newest provider partner “creates some of the most engaging and exciting titles in the industry and we are delighted to have access to their full portfolio of slots and table games.”

The Playtech official added that they deem it particularly important to “offer operators content of the highest quality and this partnership will ensure we do that.”

The Playtech Open Platform currently features more than 600 online and mobile in-house and third-party games which are available across all channels and all devices. Aside from a rich selection of titles, the platform also offers ongoing support, real-time content and competitor performance tables, a games development kit, multiple integration frameworks, and a single player account across all products, among other things.

The deal with Playtech was the latest of a list of exciting announcements by Habanero in recent weeks. The company has also revealed several content supply agreements with leading online gambling operators that would significantly extend its footprint across multiple markets.

In mid-September, the online casino games studio announced a deal with gambling veteran BetVictor that saw Habanero roll out its full portfolio with the major brand in the UK gambling market. Habanero has also recently gone live with Lithuanian operator TOPsport to boost its Baltic presence as well as with online gambling newbie Betzest.

Earlier this year, the content supplier strengthened its Italian foothold with a deal with locally licensed operator Betflag.
