Online gambling provider SOFTSWISS is set to wrap a transformational year that saw it form important partnerships, introduce a new logo, and unveil plans to venture into new segments of the industry.
Most recently, the company secured entry into a new market through an acquisition deal. SOFTSWISS this week announced that it has purchased Kingswin Online OÜ, an Estonian online gambling operator that runs the kingswin.com website.
The transaction, which was completed last month, marks SOFTSWISS’ entry into Estonia’s regulated gambling market.
The Kingswin brand was not strange to SOFTSWISS as the provider of solutions for the gambling industry has been powering the online casino operation with its platform since 2015.
Kingswin is a Bitcoin-friendly casino that features a number of games from some of the industry’s leading content suppliers. It is one of the few iGaming businesses to be licensed to conduct gambling activities on the territory of Estonia.
SOFTSWISS said that the recent addition of Kingswin to its existing operations was extremely important because it enabled the company to enter an EU jurisdiction with “strong, efficient government services.” The gambling provider also noted that while the Estonian online gambling market is not that large by itself, it “remains open for other European and non-European players”, which certainly creates big expansion and growth opportunities for SOFTSWISS.
Extended Service Offering
Commenting on the acquisition of the Estonian Bitcoin online casino, SOFTSWISS founder Ivan Montik said that the move “provides a major growth opportunity for both our businesses through an extended service offering for our clients.”
Mr. Montik also noted that the purchase of Kingswin was completely in line with their strategy to cement themselves as a market leader and “provide a complete online gaming solution in various countries.”
Following the acquisition of Kingswin, SOFTSWISS plans to use the casino owner’s Estonian license to provide white label solutions, in addition to its previously obtained licenses from the Government of Curacao and the Malta Gaming Authority. The company’s entry in the Estonian market provides it with numerous other benefits, including a range of payment systems that can be deployed in operations.
The announcement about the purchase of Kingswin followed news about a duo of deals that saw SOFTSWISS integrate more content onto its Game Aggregator.
It became known in mid-November that SOFTSWISS has penned an agreement with NOVOMATIC Internactive division Greentube, under the terms of which the company was able to integrate Greentube’s full casino suite onto its online casino content aggregator. A similar deal saw SOFTSWISS add content by major supplier Red Tiger Gaming onto its Game Aggregator.
Earlier this year, SOFTSWISS revealed plans to enter a new vertical of the gambling industry in a next stage of its growth. The company is set to launch a sportsbook solution to tap into the lucrative sports betting market.
