Online casino games and related software provider Red Tiger today announced that it has entered into an agreement to supply its slots range to Slovakian gambling group Niké on an exclusive basis.
Red Tiger’s catalog of casino games has already been launched with the online operation of the gambling operator.
With more than 900 betting shops across Slovakia, Niké has dominated the nation’s gambling market for nearly three decades. Following the recent revamp of Slovakia’s gambling regulatory framework, the operator has also been able to venture into the online casino sector with the launch of its own digital gaming operation not long ago.
Aside from casino-style gaming experience, Niké also provides retail and digital sports betting services to its Slovakian customers.
Red Tiger’s partnership with the leading Slovakian operator was the latest of a series of similar deals announced by the content supplier in recent months as it looks to expand its regulated presence across Europe.
Last month, Red Tiger launched its entire slots collection with popular online casino Royal Panda and extended its Swiss footprint with the roll-out of its games range with Casino Davos. The Swiss land-based casino last year tapped into the country’s newly reorganized online casino market with the launch of the Casino777.ch operation.
Being the Leader in Regulated Markets
The partnership with Niké and the roll-out of its content with the gambling operator marks Red Tiger’s entry into a new market. Commenting on the latest major commercial deal of his company, Red Tiger CEO Gavin Hamilton said that they are “delighted to be one of the first suppliers to go live in Slovakia and to spearhead Niké’s entry in this newly-regulated market.”
The executive went on that their partnership with Niké represented another significant milestone on their journey to be “the leader in regulated markets” and ticked off “another country in which players can now enjoy our games.”
Slovakia adopted last year a new Gambling Act that opened the country’s online gambling market and enabled private companies, including online gambling operators based elsewhere within the EU, to apply for licenses from local authorities and conduct online casino activities.
Of the recent addition of Red Tiger content to their new casino’s offering, Niké CEO and Co-owner Otto Berger said that Red Tiger “was the natural choice for the new venture following the sustained success of its games in other markets” and that they are looking forward to working with the supplier’s team as it boasts “a proven track record of delivering high-performance games in a range of styles.”
Mr. Berger went on that as the leader in Slovakia’s sports betting space, they found it important to “transfer our casino segment online and I’m sure we’ll do that by engaging the services of the best suppliers.”
