Casino games studio DreamTech Gaming is taking players to a fantasy world where ice and fire are sworn enemies that are locked in an eternal battle with its newest slot title.
The studio debuted its Ice and Fire game this past Thursday as the first title it has created as part of Yggdrasil’s YG Masters program.
The new slot features a split, dual-reel screen with two 5×5 grids for a whopping total of 120 paylines. The left half of the screen is where Ice reigns supreme, while fire is the dominant force in the right half.
The game uses cascading reels that see winning combos disappear from the grid, making room for new symbols that keep cascading from the top of the screen until no more winning combinations are formed.
In the new Ice and Fire slot, the Book symbol serves as a Wild that substitutes for all other pay symbols that land on the reels except for the Scatter. Wilds can also turn into Shared Wilds, which means that if a Wild lands on one reel set, it can be mirrored on the other one.
The Dragon Egg symbol acts as a Scatter. If three or more Scatters appear anywhere on the screen within a single spin, they trigger the Multiplier Feature that offers an increasing multiplier after every cascading win. Players are initially awarded 10 free spins.
Free Games Feature
The Ice and Fire slot also includes a Free Games feature that is triggered when players hit four cascade wins in a row. When that happens, players are offered the opportunity to pick either the ice or fire dragon and receive up to 15 free spins.
The Free Games feature can place up to 150 extra Wilds on the reels and offers the chance to retrigger the bonus round within the mode, which unlocks massive win potential.
Ice and Fire is a medium to high volatility slot with an average RTP of around 96.64%. As mentioned above, the game is the first one DreamTech Gaming has released since joining the YG Masters program for iGaming studios.

Of Yggdrasil’s YG Masters program, Mr. McCarthy said that it would undergo significant expansion his year as it has joined the online casino provider’s newly launched Publishing division.
