Gambling technology giant Playtech has extended its long-standing relationship with GVC Holdings with the launch of three new Live Roulette tables in Spain.
The new Live Roulette offering will further expand Playtech’s presence in the key growth market of Spain.
The launch of the new products follows GVC’s rollout of the provider’s Quantum Ruleta Live this past December. The game was the first Live Roulette title that went live in Spain offering multiplier boosts during every game round, in addition to unique Quantum Boost and Quantum Leap special events.
The new Live Roulette tables will go live across GVC’s PartyCasino, PartyPoker, and bwin brands and will be hosted 24/7 by native Spanish-speaking dealers. They will be the first Roulette tables to be designed around Playtech Live’s green screen technology.
As mentioned earlier, Spain has been a core market Playtech has been seeking to grow its presence in. As part of its Spanish expansion campaign, the provider last year deepened its partnership with CasinoBarcelona.es to include delivery of titles from its rapidly-growing Live Casino range.
Of their focus on Spain, Playtech Sales Director Pedro Extremera said previously that Spain is a growing market “with significant long-term potential” and that they feel great stepping forward in that market.
Fantastic Sign of Things to Come
Of the upcoming launch of new Live Roulette products with GVC, Playtech COO Shimon Akad said that their commitment to deliver innovative and engaging products with leading and reliable technology is central to their partnership with their licensees.
Mr. Akad went on that GVC is a key international partner for his company and the expansion of “what is already a ground-breaking live offering is a fantastic sign of things to come.”
GVC Gaming Product Director Colin Cole-Johnson added that delivering diverse and engaging experience to players is central to their mission across all markets they operate in. The official went on that expanding their Live offering in a key growth territory is “a great step forward.”
Of Playtech’s Live Casino technology, Mr. Cole-Johnson said that the innovation of their new tables would allow them to “deliver a distinct feel across three individual brands, and with the support of highly trained native-speaking dealers, we believe we can offer our Spanish players something truly special.”
The partnership between Playtech and GVC also includes the launch of the Elevation Live Casino space, originally announced last November. Elevation was launched to initially feature five blackjack tables and a roulette wheel studio.
The new purpose-built studio was marketed as a “true visual spectacle” that would enhance player experience through a vast video wall that would be creating a backdrop of fully immersive skyline.
In February 2019, Playtech and GVC signed a long-term agreement that included the delivery of technology and content across GVC’s many gaming and sports betting brands.
