Thanks to a launch by industry giant Playtech, online casino players in Switzerland now have a complete suite of native-language live casino tables at their disposal. The exclusive Swiss games are being served from Playtech’s new studios constructed at Casino de Zurich in the center of the Capital City.
The studio is the first of its kind in Switzerland and only the second-ever in all of Europe utilizing the same framework of cooperation between legacy land-based interests and online software and game providers.
The working relationship goes back several years and is the result of Playtech’s strategy to take greenfield advantage of newly liberalized or freshly regulated markets. Swiss Casinos operates four of the country’s largest gambling venues and has partnered with Playtech since 2019 to bring online games to players there since the first online licenses were issued.
Playtech further expanded its market share with the launch of the Playtech iPoker network in 2020. The debut of live casino games directly from the Gessnerallee location near year’s end gives the partnership three successive years of groundbreaking advancements.
Strengthening the Ties that Bind
According to a press release from Playtech, multiple teams from each concern worked together to bring the concept to fruition and the cooperation strengthened the two companies’ shared bonds with the end result being direct access to Playtech’s innovative live gaming for players who visit the Swiss Casinos website.
All of the tables are hosted by professionally trained native-language speakers, giving every experience a more personal touch than can be found elsewhere.
