Leading Spanish operator and game machine distributor, Orenes Grupo has agreed on a deal with International Game Technology PLC (IGT) through its subsidiary, IGT Europe Gaming B.V., that will see the legendary American company’s slots purpose-fit for the amusement with prizes (AWP) market in Spain.
Orenes Grupo is a market leader in the slot lounge (“salones”) subsector of the Spanish machine gambling market and IGT is a global leader in gaming serving players in regulated jurisdictions around the globe with slots, multi-game terminals, and other gaming machines as well as lottery, sports betting, and online digital gambling. The original video poker machine was invented by the late William “Si” Redd (1911–2003), founder of IGT in Las Vegas. The company now employs over 10,000 people in more than 100 countries across the globe.
The first machines to roll out were multi-game kiosks with linked multi-level progressive jackpots. The cabinets will include many local AWP favorites anchored by Magic Fortune™ Link multi-level progressive.
3,000 Spanish Gaming Centers
The slots lounge or salones sub-sector in Spain includes over 3,000 bingo halls and gaming centers. The atmosphere is much like you’d find in the middle of a slots floor in Las Vegas and the salones are evolving to include more machines with advanced technological content and hardware – which would include the multi-machine linked products.
IGT will provide the games on their BINTIA™ 27-inch multi-game cabinets with dual HD monitors, immersive sounds, programmable LED lighting, and a comfortable design focused on ergonomics for player comfort.

Knowing full well there is not a one-size-fits-all solution to gambler satisfaction and operator success in Spain, IGT says it will continue ongoing player research with incremental releases of new games in the market with purpose-driven choices and development.
Four Magic Fortune Link AWP So Far
So far, the company has created AWP versions of all four Magic Fortune Link™ themes. These include Dreams of Egypt, Golden Secrets, Hephaestus, and Temple of Fire.
The games are riddled with features like the Hold ‘n Spin link mechanics which have already proven popular in the Spanish market’s AWP sub-sector. The games offer players a chance to trigger a Magic Fortunes bonus game to engage with the hold and spin mechanic.
There are four levels of progressive jackpot prizes – the mini and minor awards which are bet dependent and the Major and Grand progressive prizes which grow quickly and grow much bigger thanks to the jackpots being linked to and fed by other machines in the series.
