Mini RouletteMini Roulette is a Playtech-created casino game that offers players something different.

This game is featured in many different online casinos and has become a hit with players and critics alike. Mini Roulette is generous with its payouts and has a very respectable house edge.

It also features some very wide betting limits, though these may vary depending on the casino you are playing at. Below you will find all relevant information on the game.

Gaming Experience

Mini Roulette is basically a small-scale version of the fan-favorite game. It closely resembles European Roulette and features 12 numbers and a zero. The roulette table is also much smaller due to the lower number of pockets. Visually, it is just as pleasing as other Playtech offerings, if not more. It features a somewhat cartoonish style which helps in giving off that miniature vibe. The wheel, which is also smaller, features a different sequence of numbers than European or American roulette. It goes as follows – 3 – 10 – 1 – 8 – 9 – 2 – 7 – 6 – 11 – 4 – 0 – 5 – 12. This changes up the dynamic of the game and it will lead to more frequent wins.

Specific Features

Mini Roulette also comes with mostly the bets, but due to the different number of pockets, the odds and payouts have been shifted to reflect the new game. There are still the same Inside and Outside bets, but the amount that you win is different. You can place several bets:

French Roulette Bets
Bet Description
Straight Up A bet on any number that pays 11:1 when won
Split A bet on two neighboring numbers that will pay you 5:1
Street The same bet from traditional roulette where you wager on 3 numbers in a row using a single chip. This bet pays 3:1 if the winning number is covered by your bet
Corner A Corner bet consists of placing a single chip where four different numbers meet. If the winning number is part of those four you will be rewarded with a 2:1 payout
Column A Column bet is similar to the Corner bet, in that you place a wager that the winning number will part of the four in a given column. This bet also pays 2:1
Half Dozen The Half Dozen bet has been changed to an even money one, as half a dozen represents half of the number’s grid. As a result, it now pays 1:1
Red or Black / Even or Odd These bets remain unchanged from the full version of roulette, and they still pay 1:1

As you can see the Mini version of Roulette is somewhat different from the full one, though not by much. The game features different payout ratios to make up for the difference in odds. In essence, it still plays the same way, even though it might feel different. Due to the above-mentioned changes, the house edge of the game is also different. Mini Roulette has an average return-to-player percentage of 96.15%, which falls between European and American Roulette.

Mini Roulette is an interesting concept for a roulette game. It features basically the same rules but is different enough to feel unique. The changes in the house advantage might scare some players off, however, since the European style features more favorable odds. Overall, Mini Roulette is a fun game and it is worth some of your attention, at least.
