Older edition — looking for another slot?
This review documents a historical game edition. The archived rules and screenshots do not confirm current availability.
Explore Microgaming gamesFunhouse is Microgaming’s historical three-reel, five-payline classic slot. Its clown-and-candy design surrounds a small set of bar symbols, sweets and a Funhouse logo that acts as a wild. The archived screenshot below shows the game and its paytable together, including a recorded practice-credit result.
This review describes that archived edition. It does not establish current casino availability, current currency limits or a verified RTP. Similarly named games from other suppliers may have different rules.

The original game screen

The controls show five coins selected, a denomination of 5 and a total BET of 25.00 credits. Five selected lines at one five-credit coin per line account for that stake. The “coins” count here must not be read as five coins on each of five lines: that would incorrectly turn the pictured stake into 125 credits.
Reading the paytable
The pictured table lists 4 for three mixed bars, 10 for three single bars, 40 for three double bars, 60 for three triple bars and 80 for three candy symbols. These are the table’s displayed award values, not amounts in a named currency. The game labels the Funhouse logo as wild, allowing it to replace another ordinary symbol.
The three-logo awards are paired with coloured line markers. In this screenshot, line 1 is paired with 1,000, line 2 with 1,500, line 3 with 2,000, line 4 with 5,000 and line 5 with 2,500. In particular, the 5,000 award is beside the green number 4, not the red number 5. Always read the marker on the actual game rather than assuming the biggest award belongs to the highest-numbered line.
The screen explicitly says only the highest win is paid per selected line. A wild-completed combination should therefore not be counted again as a second, lower-paying combination on that same line. The logo’s displayed fixed awards are not evidence of an accumulating progressive jackpot.
A verified practice-credit example
The screenshot states “YOU WIN 40.00 CREDITS”, with BET 25.00 and WIN 40.00 in the controls. That is a 40-credit gross return on a 25-credit stake, or 1.6 times the spin stake. Subtracting the stake gives a 15-credit net gain for that recorded result. It is not a 40-credit net profit.
The balance is explicitly marked DEMO CREDITS. These figures therefore illustrate the displayed practice result; they are not proof of a cash payment or a result available at a current casino. The visible symbol paths do not justify treating every bar award as another payment on the same line.
Features and controls
This classic edition concentrates on ordinary line wins and wild substitution. LCB’s archive describes no separate free-spin or pick-bonus round. Its screen offers BET ONE, BET MAX and SPIN, plus HELP and an EXPERT option. Consult the version’s help before changing stake or automatic-play settings; an old desktop control panel is not an instruction to install discontinued casino software.
More selected lines increase the total stake at the same coin value. The special logo awards also differ by the line shown, so a single headline prize does not describe every three-logo result. Neither feature makes a win certain.
Funhouse questions
Is this the Microgaming classic or a modern bonus slot?
This review covers the archived Microgaming three-reel, five-line Funhouse pictured above.
Does COINS 5 mean five coins on every line?
Not in the pictured setup. Five coins at denomination 5 produce the displayed total stake of 25 credits.
Which line marker sits beside the 5,000 logo award?
The green number 4. The red number 5 sits beside 2,500 in this archived paytable.
Can a wild win and a lower bar win both pay on the same line?
The screen says only the highest win is paid per selected line, so do not add a lower alternative on that same line.
Was the pictured 40-credit win a 40-credit profit?
No. Against a 25-credit stake, the gross return is 40 and the net gain is 15 practice credits.
Does this screenshot prove a real-money payout or current availability?
No. It is labelled DEMO CREDITS and documents a historical edition, not a current casino offer or cash withdrawal.
