Older edition — looking for another slot?

Explore Microgaming gamesMocha Orange is the historical three-reel, single-payline Microgaming slot with one-coin and two-coin betting. This review covers the orange-wild classic shown in the original desktop screenshot. Its central rule is straightforward: only the highest winning combination on the centre line is paid. The orange can substitute and multiply a qualifying win.
Original game screen

Paytable in coins
The one-coin and two-coin columns give the complete award for the chosen setting. The second column is not an extra amount added to the first. Multiply an award by the coin denomination to calculate its monetary value.
| Combination | 1 coin staked | 2 coins staked |
|---|---|---|
| Three oranges | 800 | 1,600 |
| Three sevens | 100 | 200 |
| Three triple bars | 50 | 100 |
| Three double bars | 25 | 50 |
| Three bells | 20 | 40 |
| Three single bars | 10 | 20 |
| Any two bells | 5 | 10 |
| Three mixed bars | 3 | 6 |
| Any one bell | 2 | 4 |
The mixed-bar row allows bar symbols of different types on the centre line. The one-bell and two-bell rows are labelled “ANY ONE” and “ANY TWO” in the original screen. They are not extra payments stacked on top of a higher qualifying win: the screen specifies highest centre-line win only.
Orange wild multipliers
The orange substitutes for other symbols. One substituting orange doubles the winning combination; two substituting oranges quadruple it. Three oranges use their own 800/1,600-coin row. Do not apply a further 4x multiplier to that three-orange award.
LCB identifies this edition as having no scatter feature, free-spin round, separate bonus game or progressive jackpot. Its main special feature is the substituting orange and its multiplier.
Worked payout examples
Use the denomination actually displayed in the screenshot: 5 currency units per coin, with two coins staked. The spin costs 10 currency units. The screenshot does not identify a currency symbol, so these examples are not labelled as dollars or euros.
- Three sevens: the two-coin column awards 200 coins. At 5 per coin this returns 1,000 currency units gross, or 990 after subtracting the 10-unit stake.
- Two sevens and one substituting orange: 200 x 2 = 400 coins, worth 2,000 currency units gross or 1,990 net.
- One seven and two substituting oranges: 200 x 4 = 800 coins, worth 4,000 currency units gross or 3,990 net.
- Three oranges: 1,600 coins x 5 = 8,000 currency units gross or 7,990 net. Relative to the 10-unit total stake, that is 800x, not 1,600x.
For comparison, the one-coin orange award is 800 coins for a one-coin stake: also 800x the total stake. The two-coin setting doubles both this award and its cost; the displayed table does not show a disproportionate maximum-coin uplift.
Historical edition and limits
The capture establishes a selected denomination of 5 and a two-coin stake. It does not, by itself, establish every selectable denomination or today’s casino limits. LCB lists a historical 0.25-to-5 coin range, but users should confirm the permitted settings in their exact build rather than treating that range as a universal current limit.
No provider mathematics sheet was recovered to independently verify RTP, hit frequency or symbol probabilities. The paytable alone cannot establish how often a win occurs. Only one useful full-game screenshot was present in the cited sister-site gallery; it is not duplicated or presented as evidence of a second screen. Historical software evidence does not establish present-day availability at any listed casino.
Frequently asked questions
How many paylines does Mocha Orange use?
One centre line across three reels. The highest qualifying win on that line is the one paid.
Is the second coin column an additional payment?
No. It is the whole award when staking two coins.
What happens when an orange substitutes?
One substituting orange doubles a winning combination; two quadruple it. Three oranges have their own award row.
Is the 1,600-coin top award 1,600 times the total bet?
No. It requires a two-coin stake, making it 800 times the total stake.
Are there free spins or a progressive jackpot?
The cited historical edition has neither. The orange substitution multiplier is its main special feature.
