Muchos Grande is a historical Microgaming five-reel, three-row slot. This review covers the 15-line edition pictured below. Its gold coin is wild, its snake is a scatter, and treasure maps activate a separate picking feature. The original captures establish this edition’s rules rather than current casino availability.

Line awards and scatter units

Ordinary wins run left to right. The paytable multiplies awards by the credits staked per line and pays only the highest win on each selected line. Scatters pay anywhere, use the total stake and are added to line wins. Keep these units separate.

Gold treasure0x50x100x450x
Gold-coin wild4x120x1,200x9,000x

The gold coin substitutes for ordinary symbols, excluding scatter and bonus symbols. Two, three, four or five snake scatters award 2x,4x,50x or 400x the total stake, respectively.

Worked example: the pictured configuration has 15 lines,5 coins per line and a 0.50-credit denomination. Each line costs 2.50 credits and the spin costs 37.50 credits. Five donkeys on one line pay 250 x 2.50 =625 credits gross. If this is the only award, the net gain is 587.50 credits. Three snake scatters instead award 4 x 37.50 =150 credits before any line wins, leaving 112.50 credits net if there are none.

Treasure maps trigger the bonus, not the snake

Three, four or five treasure-map symbols on an active payline trigger the treasure-map feature. They do not simply need to appear anywhere. The separate map screen shows places to select and revealed prizes.

The paytable lists bonus ranges of 90–3,000 for three maps,120–4,000 for four maps and 150–5,000 for five maps. Crucially, it says the wins shown inside the bonus game have already been multiplied by the initiating line bet. Do not apply the line bet again to a displayed bonus prize. Bonus wins are added to payline wins.

The map screenshot shows revealed values 650 and 450 while the win display reads 550.00 at a 0.50 denomination:1,100 displayed coin units correspond to 550 credits. This is a captured partial bonus state, not proof that every bonus ends at that amount or that those figures are unscaled multipliers.

What the top award and stake display establish

Five wilds on one line pay 9,000 times the line bet. At the pictured 2.50-credit line stake that is 22,500 credits, or 600 times the 37.50-credit total stake. This is a fixed line award, not evidence of a progressive jackpot or a universal maximum total spin win.

The screenshots show one stake configuration. They do not verify the full denomination range, a universal current maximum stake, RTP or current availability. No free-spin trigger appears in the photographed paytable; its verified bonus is the treasure-map feature. The earlier review’s claims about hit frequency are not supported by a paytable and are omitted.

Frequently asked questions

How many lines are in this edition?

The original controls show 15 selectable paylines over five reels and three rows.

Do snake scatters trigger the map feature?

No. Treasure-map symbols on an active line trigger it; snakes award separate total-stake payouts.

Does the gold coin replace maps or snakes?

No. The help excludes bonus and scatter symbols from substitution.

Should I multiply a displayed bonus prize by my line stake?

No. The help says the displayed bonus wins are already multiplied by the initiating line bet.

Is 9,000 the multiple of the whole spin stake?

No. It is the five-wild line-bet multiple. With 15 equally staked lines, that single-line award is 600 times the total stake.

Evidence: four original game captures preserved on Games and Casino’s Muchos Grande page. The award table, bonus trigger and unit distinctions were visually checked against those captures.
