The game rules permit one to 25 lines. Ordinary symbols pay left to right, with the highest win on each selected line paid. Wins on different selected lines are added. Scatters do not need to follow a payline, and their awards are added to line wins.
Paytable and the captain wild
The red captain parrot substitutes for all symbols except the treasure-chest scatter. It also has its own line awards. The blue crew parrot is a separate paying symbol; it is not the captain wild shown in the help screen.

The grouped rows share award values, but do not imply that different ordinary symbols can be mixed to form one match. Wild substitution is the separate exception.
Worked line and scatter examples
At the pictured 10-coins-per-line setting, five red captains on one active line pay 6,000 × 10 = 60,000 coins. With a 0.01 denomination, this is 600 account units. Against the complete 25-line stake of 2.50, that one-line award is 240 times the spin stake. It is not a 6,000-times-total-stake award, and it does not define the maximum combined result across multiple lines or free spins.
Two, three, four or five treasure chests instead pay 2, 5, 20 or 100 times the total coins staked. With the same 250-coin stake, three chests pay 1,250 coins, worth 12.50 account units. The rules explicitly say scatter wins are added to payline wins. This distinction is why multiplying a scatter award only by the 10 coins on one line would understate it.
Free spins: the outer reels matter
The feature starts when the chest scatter appears on both reels one and five. A pair on those outer reels meets the stated condition; three chests confined to other reels do not. The scatter-count payout and the free-spin trigger are separate rules.
The game then presents six treasure chests. Choose one of three gold chests to determine the free-spin multiplier, then one of three red chests to determine the number of free spins. The archived rules do not list every possible count or multiplier, so this guide does not turn reported example outcomes into guaranteed bounds. The selected values should be read from the feature screen.
The rules say free-spin prizes are added to line and scatter wins, and that the free-spin feature cannot be retriggered. Choosing a chest does not provide evidence of a predictable way to select a larger award.
