Older edition — looking for another slot?

This review documents a historical game edition. The archived rules and screenshots do not confirm current availability.

Silver Scarab is a historical Microgaming three-reel slot with one centre payline. The desktop edition archived by our sister site World Casino Directory uses one, two or three coins per spin. Its scarab is both a wild and a paying symbol, with different awards for three scarabs on the line and three anywhere on the reels. This is a guide to the pictured edition, not confirmation of current availability.

Reading the coin and bet controls

The screenshot shows a coin value of 1, three coins selected and a total BET of 3.00. The highlighted single-bar combination awards 30.00 credits. This example distinguishes the denomination, the number of coins wagered and the resulting prize; they are not interchangeable figures.

World Casino Directory records historical coin values from 0.25 to 5.00 and up to three coins per spin. Those settings imply total stakes from 0.25 to 15.00 account units. They do not establish a current operator’s cash limits or currency. Inspect the denomination and paytable of the edition actually offered before applying these figures.

Paytable: use the selected coin column

The embedded paytable labels separate first-, second- and third-coin columns. Each entry below is the complete award for that coin setting, not an amount to multiply by the coin count again. The screen also states that only the highest win is paid on the centre line.

Worked payout examples

For the pictured single-bar win, the three-coin column pays 30 coins. With a denomination of 1, that is 30 account units from a stake of 3.00: a gross return of 10 times the stake, or a net increase of 27 units after that spin’s cost. Multiplying the 30 by three again would incorrectly triple the prize.

Three scarabs on the centre line pay 4,000 coins at the three-coin setting. At a denomination of 1, that is 4,000 units on a 3-unit stake, approximately 1,333.33 times the total bet. It is not a 4,000-times-total-stake award. With two coins selected, the corresponding award is 2,500 coins, so the top row does not increase in a simple one-two-three proportion.

Three scarabs in any position have a separate 1,000-coin entry at the three-coin setting. Do not add that to the 4,000-coin line award to invent a 5,000-coin prize: the archived source does not establish that those overlapping outcomes are paid together.

Wild symbol and edition limits

The on-screen rule identifies the scarab as wild and says it substitutes for all symbols. The separate three-scarab rows are why its position matters even though it has a wild role. This page does not infer additional free-spin, bonus-round or gamble rules from other Egyptian-themed games.

World Casino Directory identifies this as a non-progressive game. Its fixed 4,000-coin top line award should not be confused with an accumulating jackpot. No edition-specific RTP has been verified here, and neither a historical screenshot nor a casino listing establishes that this release is currently available in your country.

Silver Scarab questions

How many paylines does Silver Scarab have?

The historical edition has one centre line across three reels. The paytable separately describes three-scarab awards in any position.

Is the 4,000 award a multiple of the full stake?

No. It is a coin award in the three-coin column. Dividing by the three coins wagered gives approximately 1,333.33 times the total stake.

What does the scarab wild replace?

The pictured rule says it substitutes for all symbols. It also has its own awards, so read the scarab rows as well as the wild instruction.

Why does the screenshot show a 30-credit win?

It shows three single bars on the centre line, three coins wagered and a coin value of 1. The third-coin paytable entry for those bars is 30.

Are three scarabs anywhere worth the same as three on the line?

No. At three coins, the separate entries are 1,000 coins for any position and 4,000 coins for the payline result. Do not combine them without an explicit rule.

Can this guide confirm the current RTP or betting limits?

No. It documents the older screenshot and historical denomination range. A current release’s own help screen and controls take precedence.
