Older edition — looking for another slot?
This review documents a historical game edition. The archived rules and screenshots do not confirm current availability.
Explore Microgaming gamesSneak a Peek: Hunky Heroes is a historical five-reel, nine-line Microgaming slot. It combines ordinary line wins, a separate scatter award, Pick a Package free spins and the Sneak a Peek tile bonus. The edition described here is the older desktop game pictured by our sister site KeyToCasinos. These archived screens verify the rules below, not current availability at any casino.

The nine-line edition and its stake display
The base-game screenshot shows nine active lines and five coins per line. The total bet is therefore 45 coins. At the displayed 0.05 coin denomination, this is 2.25 account units for the complete spin. No currency symbol is shown, so that amount should not automatically be described as dollars, euros or pounds.

The help screens show one coin on one line. Their award values are interpreted using the accompanying rule that line wins are multiplied by coins staked per line. The number of active lines contributes to the total spin cost; it is not an extra multiplier applied to a single winning line.
Line awards and wild substitution
The historical rules specify left-to-right line wins and only the highest win on each selected line. The heart-shaped Hunky Heroes logo substitutes for all symbols except Bonus and Scatter. Its own awards start with two logos, unlike the character symbols, which start with three.
| Symbol | Two | Three | Four | Five |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hunky Heroes logo | 7 | 70 | 400 | 4,000 |
| Roger | — | 50 | 250 | 2,000 |
| Wade | — | 40 | 200 | 1,750 |
| Duncan | — | 30 | 150 | 1,500 |
| Patrick | — | 25 | 100 | 1,000 |
| Brad | — | 20 | 50 | 700 |
| Pilot helmet | 4 | 15 | 40 | 400 |
| Naval cap | 3 | 12 | 30 | 300 |
| Police cap | 2 | 10 | 25 | 200 |
| Firefighter helmet | 2 | 6 | 20 | 150 |
| Lifeguard cap | — | 5 | 15 | 100 |
As a worked example, three Roger symbols on a qualifying line award 50 coins at one coin per line. At the base screenshot’s five-coin line stake, that becomes 250 coins. A 0.05 denomination converts that award to 12.50 account units. This is the line award before accounting for the stake of the complete spin, not a claim about the net result of a session.

The scatter is separate from the free-spin symbol
The male-symbol icon is the scatter. Three, four and five of these pay 2, 10 and 100 times the total bet, respectively, and scatter wins are added to line wins. Using the 2.25 total-stake example, the awards would be 4.50, 22.50 and 225.00 account units. These use the whole spin stake rather than a single line stake.
The red package symbol has a different role: it triggers Pick a Package when it appears on reels one, two and three on an active payline. It should not be confused with the scatter icon or treated as an anywhere-on-the-reels trigger.

Pick a Package free spins
The pictured help says to select a package to begin with up to seven free spins at a 3x multiplier. During the feature, the pink modifier on reel five can add up to another 3x to the multiplier, while the yellow modifier on reel four can add up to five extra free spins. The total multiplier is capped at 10x. The panel gives no numerical limit to the extra spins that can be added.
Those additional spins are not a retrigger: the help expressly says free spins cannot be retriggered. The stake and selected lines remain those of the game that started the feature. It also distinguishes simultaneous triggers from features occurring later: the bonus game and free spins cannot start simultaneously, but Sneak a Peek can occur during the free-spin feature.

The Sneak a Peek tile feature
A Sneak a Peek symbol on reel one reserves the corresponding position on reel five. A character landing in that position triggers his bonus; simply having the two symbols anywhere on those reels is insufficient.
The bonus panel specifies 12 selections from 15 blocks. Matching three of the same item completes a set and awards a multiplier; the panel also warns about obstacle symbols. The payout calculation adds the multipliers won and multiplies that sum by the total stake. For illustration only, a sum of 15 at a 2.25 total stake would award 33.75 account units. This demonstrates the arithmetic without assuming that every game will reveal those multipliers.
Crucially, an award from this tile bonus is not increased by the free-spin multiplier, even when the bonus starts during free spins. The archived help states that exception directly.

What the archived screens establish
The examples above describe the visible historical edition. Large coin-win banners are not treated as verified maximum cash wins, and the screenshots do not establish a current minimum stake, maximum stake, RTP or supported-device list. Check the help for the exact edition if it is available. A different title in the Sneak a Peek series can use different line counts and triggers.
Hunky Heroes questions
How many paylines does the pictured edition have?
Nine. The base-game control shows nine selected lines, and the help panel diagrams all nine.
Do two Hunky Heroes logos pay?
Yes. The pictured paytable lists seven coins at one coin per line. The award scales with the coins staked on that line.
Does the male-symbol scatter start Pick a Package?
No. Pick a Package uses the red package symbols on reels one, two and three of an active payline. The male-symbol scatter has its own total-bet awards.
Can extra free spins still be added if the feature cannot retrigger?
Yes. The yellow reel-four modifier can add up to five spins. Adding spins through that modifier is different from triggering the feature again.
Can the free-spin multiplier exceed 10x?
No. The historical help sets a 10x cap even though modifier symbols can increase it during the feature.
Is a tile-bonus win multiplied again during free spins?
No. The help explicitly excludes the Sneak a Peek bonus award from the free-spin multiplier.
