Sonic Boom is a historical three-reel, one-payline slot by Microgaming. This guide covers the classic fighter-jet edition documented by our sister site KeyToCasinos. It uses a central winning line, a one- or two-coin wager and a logo wild that can multiply substituted combinations. The archived screen is evidence for that edition, not confirmation that a casino currently offers it.

The reels and central payline

The three reels display Sonic Boom logos, fighter jets, bars and cherries. Above them, the pictured game states that only the highest win is paid on the centre line. Symbols visible above or below that line do not create additional paylines. The paytable remains beside the reels, so its one-coin and two-coin columns can be compared without opening a separate screen.

One-coin and two-coin payouts

The following are coin awards shown in the archived paytable. They are not currency amounts or net profits. The second column is the total award for a two-coin wager, rather than an extra award added to the one-coin column.

The logo award is an exception to simple doubling: 1,200 coins becomes 2,500 at two coins, rather than 2,400. Relative to the amount wagered, the three-logo award is 1,200 times a one-coin stake or 1,250 times a two-coin stake. It should not be described as 2,500 times the total two-coin stake.

Converting coins into currency

Multiply the coin award by the selected coin denomination. For example, using a hypothetical denomination of 0.10 currency units, a two-coin spin costs 0.20. Three fighter jets have a 240-coin award in that column, equivalent to 24.00 currency units; three logos have a 2,500-coin award, equivalent to 250.00. These examples explain the calculation and are not recorded wins or a guarantee that a current version offers that denomination.

How the logo wild works

The screenshot identifies the Sonic Boom logo as wild for all symbols. It also shows a doubled payout for one substituting logo and a quadrupled payout for two. KeyToCasinos describes the same rule. For example, on a one-coin wager, a fighter-jet combination completed by one logo uses the 120-coin jet award and the two-times multiplier, giving 240 coins. Three logos have their own separately listed award; do not apply the substitution multiplier again to that entry.

Features and edition limits

The source describes a classic slot without free spins or a separate bonus game. The pictured controls include Bet One, Bet Max, Spin, Help and Expert. Historical autoplay options described by the source do not establish which controls a current operator permits.

The archived paytable establishes the two wager columns and displayed awards. It does not verify current casino availability, present-day minimum or maximum currency stakes, or an RTP figure. Check the help and paytable for the exact edition available to you. A different game sharing the Sonic Boom name should not be assumed to use these rules.

Sonic Boom questions

How many paylines does this Sonic Boom edition have?

One: the centre line across three reels. The screenshot states that only the highest win on that line is paid.

What do three Sonic Boom logos pay?

The historical paytable lists 1,200 coins for a one-coin wager and 2,500 coins for a two-coin wager.

Is the 2,500-coin award 2,500 times the total bet?

No. At the required two-coin wager it is 1,250 times the total stake, before considering the distinction between award and net profit.

What happens when a logo substitutes for another symbol?

One substituting logo doubles the combination’s award; two quadruple it. Three logos use their own listed paytable award.

Can fewer than three cherries pay?

Yes. The paytable includes any one cherry and any two cherries on the centre line, with separate amounts for one- and two-coin wagers.

Does this guide confirm a current RTP or casino offering?

No. It documents an archived Microgaming edition. Current availability, stakes and mathematical specifications must be checked for the exact game.
