Star Appeal is a five-reel, three-row Microgaming slot with 30 selectable paylines and a film-premiere theme. This guide covers the historical desktop edition shown by KeyToCasinos. Its paytable displays a blonde star, a suited man, a photographer, a dog and a golden statuette alongside playing-card symbols. These archived screens verify that edition; they do not establish that a casino currently offers it.

Reels and the cost of a spin

The reel screenshot has 30 lines selected and 10 coins per line. The total bet is therefore 300 coins. At the visible coin value of 0.01, the spin costs 3.00 currency units. A coin total is not the same as a currency amount: the coin value must also be applied.

What the historical paytable pays

The separate paytable screenshot shows one selected line, one coin per line and coin value 0.01. The entries below reproduce the awards visible at those settings. Ordinary symbols pay from left to right; the star scatter is explicitly identified as the exception to that direction rule.

At the pictured one-coin line stake, five photographer symbols on the winning line have a 2,000-coin entry. With a coin value of 0.01, that converts to 20 currency units. The five-substitute entry is 5,000 coins, or 50 currency units at those same settings. These are paytable arithmetic examples, not recorded wins. The 5,000 entry is not proof of the largest possible combined spin or feature win.

Substitute symbol and star scatters

The blonde star symbol is labelled Substitute. In addition to its three-to-five-symbol awards, the screen lists 5 for two matching substitutes; the suited man lists 3 for two. The screenshot does not expose the complete substitution rules, so it does not confirm whether a particular special symbol can be replaced or whether substituted wins receive any multiplier.

The walk-of-fame star is labelled Scatter. Its displayed entries for two, three, four and five stars are 2, 5, 20 and 100 respectively. Because the captured paytable uses a one-coin total bet, that screen alone cannot distinguish a per-line calculation from a total-stake calculation at higher settings. Check the in-game rules for the applicable scatter calculation before scaling those awards.

Triggering the Star Feature

The reel screen explicitly says that the Star Feature is triggered when three or more star symbols appear anywhere. Two stars therefore do not meet the shown feature trigger, even though the scatter paytable has a two-star award. The screenshots do not show the feature help pages. Free-spin counts, feature multipliers and retriggers are not treated as verified here.

Edition limits and availability

The paytable bears the Powered by Microgaming mark and both images show the same Star Appeal title and controls. This is evidence for the pictured historical release. It does not verify a modern remake, current minimum or maximum stakes, operator availability or RTP. The source catalogue’s house-advantage field is not supported by a visible mathematical specification, so no RTP is quoted from it.

Star Appeal questions

How many paylines does Star Appeal have?

The documented edition has 30 selectable paylines on five reels and three rows.

Does the 300 bet display mean 300 currency units?

No. It is 300 coins in the pictured reel screen. At coin value 0.01, that equals 3.00 currency units.

What triggers the Star Feature?

The reel screen specifies three or more star symbols anywhere.

Do two stars trigger that feature?

No. Two have a scatter award entry, but the shown feature trigger requires at least three.

Does the 5,000 award represent the game’s overall maximum win?

It is the displayed five-substitute line entry at the captured stake. The screenshots do not establish an overall maximum across all lines and features.

Is a current RTP confirmed?

No. Neither screenshot provides a verified RTP figure. Use the rules for the exact version available to you.
