Explore Microgaming gamesSugar Parade is Microgaming’s five-reel candy-themed slot with fifteen fixed paylines, a picking bonus and ten-spin free-spin awards. This guide covers the historical edition documented by our sister site KeyToCasinos. The archived rule screens show an important exception to the free-spin multiplier.

Reels and line rules
The game has three symbol rows and all fifteen lines are played. Ordinary line wins begin at the leftmost reel and continue right. Only the highest win pays on each line. A screenshot of a winning line does not establish how frequently that result occurs.

Reading the archived paytable
The help screens display dollar awards at the selected settings. They do not show the stake controls alongside the paytable, so these amounts are not universal prizes or verified multiples of the total bet. The title-logo wild replaces ordinary symbols but excludes the scatter and bonus symbols.

| Symbol | Three matching | Four matching | Five matching |
|---|---|---|---|
| Title-logo wild | $40 | $400 | $1,500 |
| Candy on pink background | $10 | $20 | $100 |
| Candy on orange background | $4 | $20 | $100 |
| A | $1 | $5 | $20 |
For example, four wilds show $400 while five show $1,500. Under the highest-win-per-line rule, a five-wild result does not also collect the four-wild amount on that same line. The two entries describe alternative line outcomes.

Pick a Treat bonus
Three or more bonus symbols must appear on a line from the leftmost reel to the right. Three, four or five triggering symbols give the corresponding number of picks from twelve prizes. The pictured bonus panel lists ranges of $7.20 to $60 for three, $9.60 to $80 for four and $12 to $100 for five at its selected settings.

The bonus can occur during free spins, but its awards are not multiplied by three. The help says the bonus amounts already include the initiating line bet, and bonus wins are added to line wins. For an arithmetic example at these settings, a $12 picking-bonus award stays $12 during free spins; multiplying it again to $36 would contradict the bonus rule. This is an illustrative calculation, not an observed result or a promised prize.
Free spins and scatters
Three, four or five scattered scatter symbols trigger ten free spins, and the feature can retrigger. The free-spin panel advertises triple wins; read that together with the picking-bonus panel’s explicit exclusion. Two scatters show a cash award but do not meet the three-scatter trigger.

Edition limits
KeyToCasinos identifies Microgaming as the provider and dates the release to July 2017. Its prose, summary fields and screenshots use differing coin and cash figures. We retain visible rules and labelled screenshot amounts rather than treating those figures as interchangeable. The advertised cash ceiling in the historical screen is not a verified universal maximum for every stake or edition. These records do not establish current casino availability, independently verified RTP or a current maximum stake. Check the actual installation’s help and settings.
Sugar Parade questions
How many lines are played?
All fifteen lines are played in the documented edition.
Do ordinary wins pay from either end?
No. They start at the leftmost reel and continue right.
Can the wild replace every symbol?
No. The scatter and bonus symbols are excluded.
Do two scatters start free spins?
No. They have a displayed award, but ten free spins require three, four or five scatters.
Is the picking bonus tripled during free spins?
No. Its own help panel explicitly excludes bonus wins from the three-times multiplier.
Are the dollar prizes fixed at every stake?
No such claim follows from these screenshots. They show one session’s paytable without its stake controls.
