Explore Microgaming gamesSunset Showdown is Microgaming’s historical five-reel Western slot with 25 selectable lines, a cowgirl substitute and crossed-revolver scatters. Four archived screens from our sister sites distinguish ordinary line awards, doubled substitute wins and the extra-spin feature. They document older interfaces rather than current casino availability.

Historical reels and stake controls
KeyToCasinos identifies this edition as Microgaming’s Sunset Showdown. Its reel screen shows 25 lines at ten coins per line: BET 250. At the displayed 0.01 denomination, the cash stake is 2.50.

Verified line paytable
The paytable screen is set to one coin per line. Ordinary wins run from left to right. The cowgirl substitutes for symbols other than crossed revolvers and doubles a prize when she substitutes in a winning combination.

| Symbol | 2 matching | 3 matching | 4 matching | 5 matching |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cowgirl | 10 | 100 | 1,000 | 7,500 |
| Mounted rider | 2 | 30 | 200 | 1,250 |
| Money bag | 2 | 20 | 75 | 500 |
| Boots or saddle | Not shown | 15 | 50 | 250 |
| A or K | Not shown | 10 | 25 | 150 |
A displayed substitute win
The LCB gallery shows a highlighted line with three boots followed by a cowgirl, then an A. The cowgirl completes a four-boot result. At ten coins per line, the paytable’s 50 award becomes 500 coins and substitution doubles it to 1,000. That matches the screenshot’s WIN 1000. At a 0.01 coin value, the award is 10.00 against the displayed 2.50 total stake.

This illustrates a particular settled result, not a predicted return. The 7,500 cowgirl figure is also a coin award at one coin per line, not a 7,500-times-total-stake multiplier.
Scatters and feature distinctions
The crossed-revolver panel shows 1, 5, 20 and 100 for two through five scatters. LCB’s review describes those as multiples of the stake. At a specified total stake of 2.50, a 5-times award would be 12.50. That is an arithmetic example, not an interpretation of every figure on a historical winning screen.

The reel messages specify an extra spin when cowgirls appear on reels one and five together. LCB describes those cowgirls being held while the other reels spin again. This is separate from the Baddy feature named beneath the reels.
LCB also describes a target-selection Baddy bonus, but its prose attributes the trigger to revolvers while the archived on-screen message uses a different character icon. We have not asserted that disputed trigger or an exact bonus cash ceiling. Check the installed feature-help page for the complete trigger and settlement rules.
Edition limits
The sister-site prose and data panel disagree on stake ceilings and maximum cash payouts. We therefore retain verified screen settings and explicit arithmetic instead of presenting a universal maximum. No independently verified RTP, current device-support claim or casino-availability promise is made here.
Sunset Showdown questions
Which edition is covered?
The historical Microgaming game with five reels and twenty-five selectable lines, identified by KeyToCasinos and LCB.
Does BET 250 mean a 250-unit wager?
No. At the pictured 0.01 denomination it represents 2.50.
When does the cowgirl double a prize?
The paytable says doubling applies when she substitutes in a winning combination. It does not tell you to double every cowgirl-only award.
Can she replace crossed revolvers?
No. The substitution rule explicitly excludes the scatter.
What triggers the extra spin?
The game message requires cowgirls on reels one and five at the same time. LCB describes them remaining held for the extra spin.
Is the scatter screenshot’s total a standalone scatter prize?
No such breakdown is shown. We do not use that overall win to infer a scatter multiplier or maximum payout.
