T-Rex is Realtime Gaming’s historical five-reel, 25-payline dinosaur slot. Its symbols include prehistoric plants, a volcano, other dinosaurs and a hatching egg. The original interface combines a random progressive jackpot with an egg-picking free-games feature and a T-Rex wild.

T-Rex screenshots

Historical Realtime Gaming imagery from our sister site KeyToCasinos, T-Rex entry. All three screens were visually checked on 7 October 2026. They document the original T-Rex edition, not a sequel or a current operator configuration.

How the original T-Rex works

The Line and Bet controls adjust active paylines and the stake per line. The pictured game selects 25 lines at $0.05 each, for a $1.25 spin. This confirms that particular setting; it does not verify the earlier review’s claimed euro betting range or today’s minimum and maximum stakes.

Ordinary symbol wins run from left to right. Egg scatters can appear anywhere. The original rules pay only the highest win on each line, add wins from separate lines together, and add scatter awards to line wins.

During normal games, the T-Rex appears on reel three and substitutes for other symbols except scattered eggs. A winning combination using its substitution receives a doubled award. This is not a rule that doubles every win simply because a T-Rex appears somewhere on the screen.

Rules and payout examples

The help screen explicitly multiplies line awards by the bet per line and scatter awards by the total bet. These examples use the reel screenshot’s $0.05 line bet and $1.25 total stake. Awards are gross returns; they are not net profit after the spin cost.

Selected awards from the historical T-Rex paytable
OutcomeAward basisExample return
Three volcano or plant symbols10 × bet per line$0.50
Same three-symbol combination with T-Rex substitution20 × bet per line$1.00
Two egg scatters1 × total bet$1.25
Four egg scatters10 × total bet, plus feature$12.50 before any feature wins
Five egg scatters200 × total bet, plus feature$250.00 before any feature wins

Three eggs show a feature award without a separate numeric scatter prize in this table. Two eggs pay the listed scatter return but do not trigger the feature. The pictured help also states a maximum paid spin win of 50,000 times the line bet; that is an edition-specific rule, not 50,000 times the full 25-line stake or a verified current jackpot limit.

Egg picks and free games

Three or more scattered eggs trigger a pick feature. Each selected egg can reveal up to ten free games, so the award depends on the picks; three eggs do not guarantee 30 spins. Free games use the lines and bet from the triggering spin, and the feature can retrigger.

In the free-games feature, a T-Rex landing on reel three replaces the other dinosaur symbols visible on the screen with T-Rex symbols before awards are calculated. The paytable separately lists awards for T-Rex combinations in the feature. This expansion of the wild’s role is distinct from its normal-game substitution rule.

Random jackpot and version limits

The historical help describes a progressive jackpot triggered randomly at the end of a game, with the jackpot award added to other wins. The screenshot’s dollar meter is an old example, not a current prize quote or a guarantee that a listed casino operates the same jackpot.

The screenshots include older autoplay controls. They do not establish which controls, betting limits or payout settings are available in a currently offered version. No current RTP is verified here. Read the exact edition’s help and paytable before relying on these historical rules.

T-Rex Slot Deposit Methods

Payment support depends on the casino and the player’s location, not on the T-Rex game itself. Our PayPal casino guide provides general payment information; it does not establish that a specific operator offers T-Rex or accepts that method for your account.

Frequently asked questions

Who made the T-Rex game shown here?

The sister-site catalog identifies this original T-Rex as a Realtime Gaming release. The screenshots match its five-reel, 25-line dinosaur interface.

Does the wild double every win?

No. In normal play it doubles a winning combination in which it substitutes. It appears on reel three and does not replace egg scatters.

How many eggs trigger free games?

At least three scattered eggs trigger the pick feature. Each egg can reveal up to ten free games; the number awarded is not a guaranteed ten for every egg.

Are scatter awards based on a single line bet?

No. The pictured rules multiply scatter awards by the total stake, while ordinary line awards use the bet per line. At 25 lines of $0.05, the total stake is $1.25.

Is the pictured jackpot still available?

That has not been verified. The meter documents a historical value, and current jackpot participation and game availability depend on the operator and edition.

Can the free-games feature retrigger?

Yes, the historical rules say it can. Free games use the line selection and bet of the triggering game; the current edition’s help should be checked for its own conditions.
