Older edition — looking for another slot?
This review documents a historical game edition. The archived rules and screenshots do not confirm current availability.
Explore Microgaming gamesTribal Treasure is the historical Microgaming slot with five reels, 25 selectable paylines and a golden-idol collection meter. This guide checks the older edition against two archived screens from our sister site KeyToCasinos. Its collection feature is different from a conventional three-scatter free-spin trigger.

Reading the historical reel screen
The screen shows three rows and separate controls for lines, coins per line and denomination. At 25 lines and ten coins per line, BET 250 means 250 coins. With the displayed 0.01 coin value, the total stake is 2.50 currency units. The practice balance is a separate figure.

The denomination shown here is an example, not a verified minimum or maximum. We have removed the earlier universal stake-range claims because these two screens do not establish the full range supported by each installation.
Paytable and units
The paytable screenshot uses one line and one coin per line. Its ordinary line awards are shown in coins at that setting. The golden idol is explicitly different: its award is based on the total bet.

| Symbol | 3 matching | 4 matching | 5 matching |
|---|---|---|---|
| Character wild | 150 | 1,000 | 10,000 |
| Monkey or bowl | 25 | 175 | 500 |
| Spoon or A | 20 | 50 | 125 |
| K or Q | 8 | 40 | 100 |
| J or 10 | 5 | 15 | 100 |
The character wild also has displayed one- and two-symbol awards of two and ten coins. Its substitution rule excludes the golden-idol scatter. Ordinary line combinations pay from left to right; the scatter does not need a payline combination.
Worked payout examples
Line example: five monkeys show 500 coins at one coin per line. At a 0.01 denomination, that is 5.00. With all 25 lines active at that same one-coin setting, the spin costs 0.25, so this line award is 20 times the full spin cost. Do not multiply a line award by 25 again just because 25 lines were played.
Scatter example: one golden idol pays one times the total bet. At the reel screen’s 2.50 stake, its stated award is therefore 2.50. This uses the whole wager rather than only one line’s stake. An award equal to the stake is not itself a net profit on that spin.
The displayed 10,000 wild award is a coin figure at the paytable’s one-coin setting, not evidence of a 10,000-times-total-stake maximum win. These examples explain units; they do not predict how frequently any symbol combination occurs.
Golden-idol collection and free spins
The reel-screen message awards ten free spins after ten golden idols have been collected. A counter beside the title tracks the collection, while the paytable restricts the scatter symbol to reel three. Do not replace this rule with a generic requirement to land three scatters across different reels.
The two inspected screens do not verify collection persistence after leaving the game, the effect of changing stakes, free-spin multipliers or retrigger limits. Check those details in the installed game’s help. We also do not infer RTP from the sister-site listing’s zero house-advantage field or claim that this historical interface remains available at a particular casino.
