Aces and Faces Poker by Microgaming is reviewed here through its historical single-hand interface. The rank of four matching cards determines the bonus: aces pay more than face cards, and face cards pay more than ranks 2–10. Two pairs still return twice the hand stake. The images show the older standard and Flash presentations.

Rules and hand evaluation

This is a 52-card draw-poker game without wild cards. After the initial five-card deal, choose the cards to hold and draw replacements for the others. The final hand is evaluated against the selected paytable column.

The lowest listed paying category is jacks or better. A high-card hand alone does not qualify. The payout schedule, rather than another player’s cards, determines the return.

These are coins returned for one completed hand with 5 coins staked on that hand. They are not cash amounts or profit-to-stake ratios. Multiply coins by the chosen coin value to convert to money. The in-game help takes precedence if a current edition differs.

Reading the wager and return

A return equal to the stake gives that hand’s wager back; it is not an additional profit of the same amount. Royal-flush awards may rise differently from other rows between coin settings. The photographed amount is not a promise of a current currency limit, casino offer or progressive jackpot.

Paytable changes and hold decisions affect theoretical return. We have not assigned a new RTP from these screenshots alone. Any optional Double or Gamble control risks the amount placed into that separate feature; it is not part of the base hand award.
