CND illustrated guide explaining a guide

Aces and Faces by Playtech is reviewed here through its historical single-hand interface. Playtech’s schedule distinguishes four aces, four matching face cards and four matching ranks 2–10. The two historical skins retain the same selected awards. A royal flush remains a separate category above the rank-based four-of-a-kind bonuses.

Historical Playtech game imagery, sourced from our sister site KeyToCasinos. Screens and displayed rules checked on 6 October 2026. Operator branding and older controls do not confirm current availability.

Rules and hand evaluation

This is a 52-card draw-poker game without wild cards. After the initial five-card deal, choose the cards to hold and draw replacements for the others. The final hand is evaluated against the selected paytable column.

The lowest listed paying category is jacks or better. A high-card hand alone does not qualify. The payout schedule, rather than another player’s cards, determines the return.

These are coins returned for one completed hand with 5 coins staked on that hand. They are not cash amounts or profit-to-stake ratios. Multiply coins by the chosen coin value to convert to money. The in-game help takes precedence if a current edition differs.

Reading the wager and return

A return equal to the stake gives that hand’s wager back; it is not an additional profit of the same amount. Royal-flush awards may rise differently from other rows between coin settings. The photographed amount is not a promise of a current currency limit, casino offer or progressive jackpot.

Paytable changes and hold decisions affect theoretical return. We have not assigned a new RTP from these screenshots alone. Any optional Double or Gamble control risks the amount placed into that separate feature; it is not part of the base hand award.

Frequently asked questions

Are aces included in the face-card payout group?

No. The paytable gives four aces their own 400-coin award at five coins staked. Four jacks, queens or kings pay 200 coins.

What is the lowest paying hand in Aces and Faces?

Jacks or better is the lowest category in the pictured schedule. At the 5-coin setting it returns 5 coins for that hand.

Does the displayed royal prize apply at every stake?

No. The royal row can have a non-linear increase between stake levels. This guide reports the captured setting; read the selected column before comparing prizes.

Does Aces and Faces use wild cards?

This is a 52-card draw-poker game without wild cards.

Can I assume this older edition is still available?

No. These are historical reference images. Confirm the exact title, provider, current paytable and availability in the operator’s present game library.
