In short: BitStarz is a crypto-focused online casino launched in 2014 and operated by Gareton B.V., which holds Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/165/0185. It accepts cryptocurrencies and some traditional payment methods but not players from the US or UK. A Curaçao licence offers less player protection than UK or Malta regulation.
BitStarz launched in 2014 as one of the first casinos to accept Bitcoin, and it is still one of the best-known crypto casinos. It combines a very large game library (the site advertises more than 6,500 games) with its own BitStarz Originals games.
It accepts both cryptocurrency and traditional payment methods and holds a licence from the Curaçao Gaming Authority. It does not accept players from the US or the UK.
Software Providers
BitStarz works with dozens of game studios. Pragmatic Play, Evolution, NetEnt, Play’n GO and many smaller studios supply the bulk of the catalogue. Independent reviewers count around 80 providers.
BitStarz also has its own BitStarz Originals. These are in-house crypto-style games such as Crash, Dice, Plinko and Darts, plus slots including Piggyz Mania and Three Piggyz. Note that some providers’ games, including NetEnt’s, are blocked in certain countries.

Available Games
The BitStarz lobby is large, with slots, table games, live dealers and crypto originals. The games run in your browser without a download.
Slots
Slots make up most of the library. You will find the latest releases from major studios alongside older favourites, and BitStarz also runs its own jackpot and in-house slots, such as Piggyz Mania and Jackpotz Mania.

BitStarz says it aims to process withdrawals within an hour, and crypto payouts are usually the fastest. Card and bank withdrawals typically take 1–5 business days to arrive. Withdrawals are normally paid back to the method you deposited with, and BitStarz does not charge withdrawal fees, although blockchain network fees and your payment provider’s charges may apply.
Independent reviewers put the minimum withdrawal at around $50. You may be asked to verify your identity before a withdrawal is paid.

BitStarz is available in several languages, including English, Russian, Chinese and Japanese.

Licensing and Restricted Countries
BitStarz is operated by Gareton B.V. (Curaçao company no. 160656), which holds Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/165/0185. The licence appears on the Curaçao Gaming Authority’s public register. BitStarz moved to Gareton B.V. in 2025; earlier versions of the site were run by Direx N.V. and later Dama N.V. under Curaçao’s old master-licence system.
The Curaçao Gaming Authority has tightened its rules since 2024, but it still offers less player protection than regulators such as the UK Gambling Commission or the Malta Gaming Authority.
Due to legal restrictions, BitStarz does not accept real-money players from the following countries and regions:
Albania, Algeria, Angola, Barbados, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cayman Islands, Central African Republic, Congo, Congo Democratic Republic, Cote d'Ivoire, Cuba, Curacao, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Eritrea, Estonia, Ethiopia, France, French Guiana, French Polynesia, Georgia, Gibraltar, Greece, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Hungary, Iran, Iraq, Isle of Man, Israel, Jamaica, Jersey, Kenya, Laos, Latvia, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Mali, Martinique, Mauritius, Mayotte, Monaco, Mozambique, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Netherlands, New Caledonia, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Pakistan, Panama, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Reunion, Romania, Rwanda, Saint Martin, Serbia, Sierra Leone, Slovakia, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Spain, Sudan, Sweden, Syria, Uganda, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States, Venezuela, Viet Nam, Virgin Islands, British, Wallis and Futuna, Yemen, Zimbabwe. Its terms specifically exclude the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, the Netherlands and others. Some games, including NetEnt titles, are also unavailable in certain countries.
Our Verdict
BitStarz is a long-running crypto casino with a large multi-provider lobby, crypto withdrawals and its own Originals games. Its responsible gambling tools are basic, but it holds a Curacao licence that can be checked on the regulator’s public register, with less protection than UK or Malta licensing.

Used to be one of my favorite online casinos, especially for bitcoin. I recently have came into some negative experiences though, regarding the live chat/customer service and bonuses.
I have deposited multiple times, and have been visiting Bitstarz for a little longer than a year. I may not deposit tens of thousands, but my deposits aren’t peanuts either. That being said I’m not just another bitter person who’s mad I lost and feel cheated, I have won and cashed out plenty of times.
For the most part, the customer service has been great, always someone there pretty much instant any time I’ve needed something. What’s making me give it such a low rating, and a long review is that just this week something happened. I don’t know how or why, but I do know that they didn’t make it right, and even ignored my emails regarding the incident.
As you all should know, they hand out bonuses weekly for multiple different things. I received the email informing me of a bonus so I signed on to use it, and noticed something was wrong instantly. There were 7 bonuses, multiple of a couple, and some that were larger than I should have been receiving. I knew something wasn’t right so I didn’t activate any of the ones that didn’t seem right. I did activate one for BTC and one for BCH which I thought were the normal bonuses I usually receive weekly. I even start winning.
I was up 15 mBTC when my balance disappeared. I contacted support wanting to know what is going on, and they tell me that I had activated a bonus that was 0.00015000 BTC more than I was supposed to receive which is virtually nothing. Instead of removing the excess funds from the bonus they took everything from my account. I felt cheated, and I was letting the live support help Chris know how I felt and asked if they were going to put any funds back into my account. They told me that somehow their website glitched and gave me all those bonuses and that I’m basically SOL. I asked why they didn’t just take the excess funds and they refused to give me a reply. Then I emailed Nick, the owner about the whole situation and still haven’t got a reply, ad this was 4 days ago.
Overall, I like Bitstarz, and will continue to play there, but how they handled this situation is far less than professional, and really irritates me that they couldn’t have even left me with something like 5 mBTC, For how much I play there and how many people I’ve told to play there you’d think they’d want to treat their frequent customers better, but they don’t. Just beware.
I like bitstarz casino. The games are great, minimum deposit is good. Wagering requirements are a bit high like most casinos. I haven’t been able to make a withdrawal yet but so far I’m quite happy with bitstarz.
mega fast withdrawalss – about 10 minutes, and for my first withdrawal! amazing casino i love such fair casinos. fast deposit, and the same fast withdrawal. very good !
I love the fact they offer a lot of freespins and great promotions. A great range of software providers, and fast cashouts, and being trustful are the reasons that keep being one of my preferred casinos on the web. but they take off the site almost all video poker games, thats my favorite game.
It’s improved and still keeps going! Now I don’t remember but did they have the bitcoin currencies before? It’s only recently that I made use of it including ETH! Many game choices, awesome support both quick and efficient but as for my luck….brick walls bump me head!
Lots of providers to enjoy games and i like that e-wallets payments are very fast ! I liked this casino.
this is the best casino…..i like this casino because it offers a lot of games, contacting support is easy and fast…and especially because they have a lot of bonuses for players.
Hands down the best online casino out there. Great layout and great selection of games. Friendly live chat and fast withdrawal through bank transfer. Ive never had any issues what so ever.
Hi there Luke,
In regards to our bonus offers, it’s one per device, clearly stated in our terms and conditions, and you sending
in documents to prove your identity (and your friend’s, as you claim) doesn’t change the fact that you are not
allowed to receive more bonuses as it was opened through the same divice.
You might, however, want to explain why your friend has an abbreviation of your first name and your full surname on her account. The last time that person received an email was on January 22nd. If you have another email that receives emails, kindly just notify support and they’ll be happy to sort that out if there are any issues.
Olle, BitStarz
I am again review this casino as I attempted to explain the confusion about my friend borrowing my device to start her account and basically was called a liar several times even after selfie ids were supplied by me and my friend to help them deceiver their mistakes. Still receiving emails from them even though they supposedly deleted my account. Waste of time.
showed a friend how to set up an account because she was first time online casino user. because her account was created on my device they said i was scamming. to prove it was a legitimate 2nd account my friend and I took selfie id photos clearly showing different residential address and two different people. harassment emails still continue from nik.
I must admit bitstarz casino is one of the best casinos I have played at to date. They have a decent selection of games including my favourites Amatic
Quick payments, good bonus policy, amazing support.
Thank you Bitstarz for providing a great gaming experience.
In my opinion, this is the best casino on software softswiss. Quick payments, good bonus policy, polite support, an excellent choice of slots. Many casinos should take the example of BitStarz
I have heard that this is a great casino, and in my opinion it really is. Did deposit here before but stopped playing because they didnt give out freespins regulary like other casinos do, so thats a minus for me, otherwise its a great casino, but they dont have all game providers and they do have betsoft, I am not a huge fan of betsoft provider.
One of the first and my favourite bitcoin casinos i cant believe how bitcoin is becoming more popular and more popular i like the first deposit bonus and they offer a lot of methods wich i ddint find in casinos of the same design and i really liked that. The games are a mix of old providers like amatic and belatra and the newest ones from elk netebnt etc etc.
its defiantly not my favourite casino especially when they restricted a lot of the slots I enjoy playing. One good thing is new players that register will get a no deposit bonus. Another good thing about this casino was they introduced bitcoin as a form of method to make a withdrawal which is great because in Australia a lot of our laws have changed a lot recently and bitcoin seems to be the only way you can withdraw your money with online casinos.
The best casino on the platform of softswiss, regular bonus offers on deposit, regular gifts, a lot of tournaments on the site. They do not stop in their development, they constantly offer something new: new games, new actions.
With the withdrawal of funds has never been a problem, everything happens usually within 5-20 minutes.
Decent casino! Recently I’ve joined after reading the positive reviews. I didn’t take any bonuses because I was playing mostly roulette. I requested payment and immediately received the e-mail, so I sent necessary documents that I did at once and talked in a friendly chat to Sasha that documents uploaded as came payment on KIWI. In short casino is great and if you win you do not have to worry. Good luck in the game!!!
Dont reward players for loyalty. Ive lost endless deposits here and very few withdrawals. Not sure why they are rated so highly on many sites.
One of the very first casinos I signed up with and it has made much commendable improvements since then. It’s always more fun and comfortable playing at a place you know you can trust and I think Bitstarz has that part quite nicely done. Bitcoin cashouts have been quite fast for me, and the live chat support agents are efficient and usually deliver. The bonuses might not be the most attractive ones around though, and as compared to other bitcoin casinos seem to offer lesser NDBs as well.
one of my favorites when i play with bitcoin, although that i don’t play anymore because fees are ridiculously high. Really enjoyed this place. never had any issue cashing out even with large amounts of bitcoin. “around 1.5-2” was in my wallet 10 mins after request.
I’ve taken a shine to the layout, style and “personality” of the Bitcoin/softswiss casinos in the last couple days. Bitstarz from various reviews I’ve read seems to work hard to stand atop the pile as king of the hill. While still too early for me to say if it’s the place I’d hang my hat and become a generous patron it certainly seems to have everything I’m lookin for in a casino, the days ahead will paint a clearer picture as I move through the bonuses, climb the vip ladder and test the personality and generosity of the live support staff.
I have a hard time rating this casino because I haven’t played here but I’ve been a member for quite some time so I’m going to do it anyways. I’ve tried depositing here with prepaid visa and mastercard but these methods are not accepted. It looks like they have a really good welcome package and decent ongoing promotions. They have a large selection of slot providers and games. I also noticed they always have slot tournaments running with decent payouts. I used live chat once and they were professional and courteous. I’m not familiar with their reward system but I assume it’s like other bitcoin casinos where you collect comp points which can be exchanged for a cash bonus. Overall I rated Bitstarz a 3.7 and it would be even higher if they accepted my deposit method.
Played bitstarz for a long time, but when visit it today after a gambling pause, was surprised how they worked on site usability!
Issued bonus button is really amazing, you can change the game on which you have free spins from any page in one click
They really care about players. Maybe it sounds funny, but it is really matter for me!
I think Bitstarz is the best casino from Direx N.V. When you visit their website, you immidiately see that this is not a noob casino, they’ve put a lot of work in this casino. The layout is magnificent, black and red is always the best combination. I signed up about a year ago and received automatically 20 free spins on the game Starburst. It was not much but it was free so no complain there.
I made my first deposit soon after I lost my free spins winning. During depositing, I noticed there was a fee attached to the deposit. I don’t like when a casino charges some fee for depositing, if it was on a withdrawal I would understand. This is the thing I do not like about BitStarz. The other thing I do not like about BitStarz is that the website sometimes lagged. It could be very annoying while playing but they’ve fixed this issue. They process cashouts very quickly, this is of course only happened if your account is already verified. So I recommend to verify your account first before making a deposit. Verifying your account also happens mostly within an hour, if not, you can contact live chat to speed this up.
BitStarz is a great casino with great range of games from various top notch games providers. I do recommend this casino to all those who are allowed to play there.
I really like this casino, a wide selection of slots, live games, weekly races, polite 24×7 online support, (not every casino has a round-the-clock online chat, support), a good bonus package for the first five deposits, after the first deposit give 20 free spins daily for 10 days and for them there is no limit on the amount of withdrawal, all that won any amount can be withdrawn after having played, unscrewed the wager, this is very good, there is also a reoland bonus every Monday 50% on deposit relatively with x40 wager that is not bad, often give free spins on the day following the deposit of all the same wager x40. I also like that they are in the LCB store often get a free chip so I like fast identification of the person, account verification and prompt withdrawal to electronic wallets, support knows its work and is very polite.
The very best of bitcoin casinos for me, the have ultra fast cashouts, a lot of tournemts and are continuos giving FS to active players, only miss the comp points and the cashback promos. They are one of the leaders on the field of bitcoins casinos
Good casino, but the design is a bit outdated for me and no bonuses after the welcome bonus offer.
one of the best bitcoin casinos , enjoy everyone – live chat, and get amazing bonuses.
By far one of the best casinos in my eyes, they reward u well, they have a wide range of different games from multiple providers and are always introducing new games to play. Bitcoins makes depositing and withdrawals an ease. I haven’t had a problem yet as the customer support is quick and efficient.
Ive never had any trouble with this casino. Great selection of slots and withdrawal into my skrill is always instant.
Excellent casino with a quick withdrawal process and a large selection of licensed software, I recommend.
Loved my time playing here, but unfortunately I had lost alot of money here that I decided to close my account, just wasn’t winning here..but overall, customer service is great, withdrawals are super fast games run somewhat ok but still playable so 4/5 from me.
Best casino for the players on BTC . Good bonus promotions and customers support.20 free spins on first deposit added to your account after validation of your e-mail. On first deposit bonus 200 free spins added! 10 days with everyday 20 free spins in your account. Its the best promos on first deposit what i know guys. Lets play and win! GL!
I did enjoy this casino. Good bonus insentives. And good customer service!
Hands down my absolute favorite casino right now. Fastest cashouts ever, I mean minutes. Absolutely love it. Slot battles, great selection, awesome support. Not a single bad thing to say about them at all. 10/10 would do again , and again and again!
A good experience with this casino, a withdrawal of 350 euro with a single deposit. Payment very fast, in just few hours.
Very good casino!
Bitstarz online casino has a very good collection of games that I like.
Good gaming experience.
One of my favourite bitcoin casinos.
Nice selection of games, good support and many great bonuses and promos.
Bitstarz is my all time favorite casino. Everything works like a charm. super fast withdrawals like “i click withdrawal and until i check my e mails the money is already on my e-wallet” great variety of games and the chat support is always there to help and seem to care for what they do!
Possibly one of the most infamous Bitcoin casinos around – with an iconic name to boot. Due to sheer popularity (or lack of), they have received much bad flak, mostly undeserving.
Looking deeper through the surface of thorns reveals that they are not what some people portray it to be. After all, they are one of the few casinos I know that have a max bet limiter (which prevents players from going over leading to failed cash-outs) with other advantages such as a good catalog of games, fast withdrawals, loyalty free spins. Definitely a great place to be at for newcomers who are looking to experiment with gaming via crypto-currencies.
Joined this casino more than year ago, and already had a lot of winnings using bitcoin. this site also accepts others currencies like Euro for playing… Had alot of games to offer and now they offer a tournament 2 times in a week. Fast enough while ask to withdraw when using bitcoin,.. Had 24 hours livechat support
I really enjoy playing at Bitstarz, its one of my all time favorite online casinos. I love the ease of depositing and withdrawing via bitcoin. Perfect for U.S. players like myself. I love the selection of games and the payouts are usually pretty good. I’ve made quite a few good cashouts there and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good bitcoin casino.
Love this place…has some good slot providers. But not all the ones you would expect 🙂 Amatics here and pumps out some big wins. Theres promos and tourneys constantly happening, with certain game providers being one of the themes of tournaments which they call “slot wars” going over 3 days and I week i think it is. get the highest score on whatever provider it is at the time and WIN big! The staff are fantastic, like exceptional! How Mike, Chris and James do what they do is mindblowing. Your never left waiting and your treated like a person each and everytime!! Crazy fast INSTANT payouts. not sure what there is to dislike at Bitstarz!!
Bitstarz is number one, the best casino. Very fast withdrawal to a bank account. Game selection is sufficient. Support 24/7 very willing. If you play gambling, try it here, you will not find a better casino.
I like trying out different casinos and this one is up there with good casinos. The main reason I signed up is Bitcoin
Very good withdrawal times, and its nice that you can pay via bitcoins, but sadly you can play only limited amounts of games when usings bitcoins. Overall i trust them, reccomended. 😉
One of my favorite casinos! Very beautiful site, many different actions. Freespins. Very competent support.
Probably would like it if it didn’t lad so much on Microsoft Edge and I would deposited if there hadn’t been a fee for using a debit card. Damn, I should have stayed at Spin Palace tonight. I might get round of sorting out this bitcoin one day, probably when I wanna score some cheap cigarettes. Probably not to play here though. Don’t know why it’s a top recommended casino, I see the forum bout the fella who had to take a photo next too the street sign before he could withdraw and then another person had no problems with withdrawal and gave no ID or photo and used bitcoin. WTF . LOL ! I read that a couple of hours before I came back to LCB to look for somewhere else to play and I registered at BitStar cause it came up in best casinos. I didn’t realize it was the same casino I had been reading about earlier. I’m over looking for a casino. I think I’m better of playing for fun. though if I get the bitcoin sorted out and the ID documents, this might be the right casino cause they reckon pretty much same day payouts and that’s one of the top points at BitStar.
One of the first casinos i signed with. Friendly staff and fast payouts! The guys quite often send free spins too which is a nice bonus 🙂
