iDeal is an online Dutch banking company offering payment services based on online banking. It was launched in 2005. This payment system enables people to make safe and secure money transfers using their bank accounts.

Once you decide to buy an item, place your order. Choose to pay with iDeal and select your bank. After following a few simple and easy steps you need to authorize the payment. When your bank confirms the transaction, you are notified that the payments has been successful.

Specifications
iDeal does not require users to open an account. They can use the service provided that they already have online banking with the financial institutions that cooperate with iDeal. Check the list of banks on the official website of the service.
Currently iDeal cannot be used to send money to other people. It is intended to make payments between consumers and business easier.
Payments with iDeal cannot be canceled or reversed once you have authorized the payment.
Note: if there is not enough balance on a user’s account, the money transfer is refused.
Creating account / purchasing card
iDeal does not provide such an option. You only need a bank account.
Making a payment with iDeal
Begin by placing your order. Make sure you select iDeal as a means of payment and proceed to the next steps. Select your online bank. Authorize the payment. Choose a bank account and wait for the payment to be confirmed. Now you are supposed to be sent back to the merchant’s store. Order should have been accepted.
Withdrawing money with iDeal
Since iDeal is not an e-wallet, no money is stored there. Which means you cannot withdraw money from your iDeal. You can withdraw money from your bank account that you chose to link to iDeal. To make this happen, simply go to any ATM machine or visit your bank.
