The live HTML5 roulette game proved to be an instant success, as revealed by the Playtech. Within the first 48 hours of launch across the supplier’s client network, the greater part of the players migrated to the newly introduced roulette version.
The internationally recognized supplier pointed out that the game has driven excellent customer engagement levels, longer playing sessions across all hand-held devices as well as considerably improved revenues for Playtech licensees that have gone live with the product.
Commenting on the recent launch, Kevin Kilminster, Head of Innovation at Playtech Live, pointed out that they had chosen to upgrade their roulette game as it had always been their “primary, premium” product. The official added that they had worked closely with a number of gambling operators so as to be able to come up with a game that would be the best performing one currently available on the highly competitive market.
Mr. Kilminster confirmed that the product has been received very well by players and the immediate switch from the older live roulette game to the new mobile product was a clear indication of that.
Following the HTML5 roulette success, Playtech will now focus its attention on finishing and rolling out a live mobile blackjack product. The game is expected to be launched for smartphones and tablets before the end of the year and will be enhanced with new features and options.
