Evolution has extended the reach of its live online game show MONOPOLY Live in the United States, launching in New Jersey and Delaware. These additions follow the title’s April 2026 debut in Connecticut, where players first experienced the live-hosted version of the classic board game. Evolution has indicated that further state launches are planned as it develops its live casino offerings across North America.
Developed in partnership with Hasbro, MONOPOLY Live transforms the familiar board game into an interactive casino experience. Players engage with a live presenter and a large spinning money wheel, while augmented reality bonus rounds enhance gameplay. The game, initially released globally in 2019, has received recognition from industry awards, including Game of the Year by EGR in 2019 and by Gaming Intelligence in 2020.
How the Game Works
The core gameplay involves predicting the segment where a vertically mounted wheel, spun by a live host, will stop. Bets can be placed on numbered sections or special spaces labeled CHANCE, 2 ROLLS, and 4 ROLLS. Winning bets on numbered sections are paid according to the chosen number. When a CHANCE segment is triggered, MR. MONOPOLY presents a card draw that may grant instant cash prizes or multipliers affecting the next spin.
If a multiplier is activated, all current wagers remain for the subsequent spin, allowing additional multipliers to compound potential winnings. Wagers on 2 ROLLS and 4 ROLLS trigger separate bonus rounds in which MR. MONOPOLY moves across a virtual 3D MONOPOLY board.
Bonus Features and Board Elements
During the bonus round, MR. MONOPOLY advances according to dice rolls, giving players the chance to collect prizes and multipliers corresponding to the spaces he lands on. The digital board mirrors the original game’s elements, including GO, Chance, Community Chest, Jail, Super Tax, houses, and hotels. Multiple language options are available, including British English, German, and Italian. Players who do not place bets on bonus segments can observe the feature but are ineligible for payouts from it.
