Explore Microgaming gamesCash Clams is a classic Microgaming slot with three reels and one payline. This review covers the historical game shown in the referenced gameplay screen; it does not claim that the game is currently offered by any casino. The play is centered on a single line, a two-coin option, and the Cash Clams symbol, which can act as a wild and multiplier.

Reels, payline, and coin awards
The game uses three reels and a single payline. Regular winning combinations must be adjacent and run from left to right, beginning on the first reel. The game help says that only the highest winning combination is paid. The paytable lists awards in coins; the amount credited in game credits is calculated as the coin award multiplied by the selected coin size.

The archived paytable screen lists 2,000 coins for three Cash Clams symbols with one coin selected and 5,000 coins with two coins selected. The original game help identifies 5,000 coins as the maximum regular payout. For example, at the pictured coin size of 5, a 5,000-coin award would convert to 25,000 game credits (5,000 × 5). The screenshot itself shows no win, so that calculation explains the paytable and unit conversion rather than reporting a result.
Cash Clams wild
The Cash Clams symbol can substitute for other symbols. When one Cash Clams symbol completes a regular combination as a wild, it doubles that combination’s payout; when two wilds complete it, the payout is quadrupled. A winning combination made from multiple Cash Clams symbols uses its own paytable award and is not multiplied by the wild rule.
The archived screen presents one-coin and two-coin paytable columns side by side. The coin size is a separate setting: it changes how many game credits each awarded coin represents. It should not be confused with the number of coins selected for a spin.
Cash Clams questions
How many reels and paylines does Cash Clams have?
The historical version documented here has three reels and one payline.
How does the Cash Clams wild work?
One Cash Clams wild doubles a regular winning combination it completes, and two wilds quadruple it. A Cash Clams combination that pays as its own symbol combination is not multiplied.
Are the paytable values coins or cash?
The game help defines the paytable figures as coins. To find the amount in game credits, multiply the coin award by the selected coin size. The currency value, if any, depends on the casino’s credit setup.
What is the highest regular award shown?
The archived screen lists 5,000 coins for three Cash Clams with two coins selected. The award is subject to the selected coin size and the game’s rules; it is not a guaranteed result.
Does the screenshot show a win?
No. Its win field reads 0.00. The 5,000-coin figure is a paytable award, not a result shown on that screen.
