Explore Microgaming gamesFruit Slots, also catalogued as Fruit, is a historical three-reel, single-line game from Microgaming. The illustrated desktop version uses cherries, other fruit, BAR symbols and a mixed-fruit pile. Its three-coin top award is 2,500 coins, correcting the former 750-coin figure on this page.

One centre line and three coin columns
The red horizontal line through the reels is the winning line. The paytable has separate columns for one, two and three coins, with the selected column highlighted. Only the highest qualifying win on the centre line is paid.
Three matching symbols form the main combinations. Exceptions include two cherries and one or two mixed-fruit piles anywhere along that centre line. These awards do not require free spins or a separate bonus screen. The word “any” should not be read as an award for symbols above or below the line.

Paytable in coins
Read the column for the number of coins wagered. These entries are coin awards, not fixed currency amounts. Multiply the award by the selected denomination to convert it into credits.
| Centre-line combination | One coin | Two coins | Three coins |
|---|---|---|---|
| Three mixed-fruit piles | 250 | 500 | 2500 |
| Any two mixed-fruit piles | 25 | 50 | 75 |
| Any one mixed-fruit pile | 5 | 10 | 15 |
| Three triple BARs | 80 | 160 | 240 |
| Three double BARs | 40 | 80 | 120 |
| Three single BARs | 20 | 40 | 60 |
| Three watermelons | 10 | 20 | 30 |
| Three plums | 10 | 20 | 30 |
| Three oranges | 10 | 20 | 30 |
| Three lemons | 10 | 20 | 30 |
| Three cherries | 5 | 10 | 15 |
| Any two cherries | 3 | 6 | 9 |
Worked payout examples
The screenshot provides a complete unit check: denomination 5 × three coins = a 15-credit stake. Three cherries pay 15 coins in the highlighted column, so 15 × 5 = 75 credits, matching both the WIN counter and the message above the reels. That is five times the 15-credit stake, not 15 times the stake.
At the same denomination, three mixed-fruit piles would pay 2,500 × 5 = 12,500 credits. This is a conditional calculation using the illustrated setting, not an advertised cash jackpot at a current operator.
The top row increases disproportionately: 250 coins at one coin, 500 at two coins, then 2,500 at three coins. Most other rows increase proportionally. The larger top prize does not make a three-coin spin cheaper or guarantee a better session result.
Features and edition limits
The World Casino Directory entry for Microgaming Fruit corroborates the single line, three-coin setting and 2,500-coin top award. It describes no wilds or bonus features. LCB calls the mixed-fruit symbol a scatter; here its function is explained directly as a partial-symbol award on the centre line. No free-spin trigger is shown.
No RTP is independently established by the evidence used for this review. The archived controls and denomination should not be taken as instructions to install obsolete software.
Fruit Slots questions
Is the three-coin top prize 750 coins?
No. The archived screen shows 2,500 coins for three mixed-fruit piles at three coins wagered.
Why does the screenshot show a 75-credit cherry win?
The selected column pays 15 coins for three cherries. At denomination 5, that converts to 75 credits.
Do two cherries have to start on the first reel?
The paytable says any two cherries on the centre line. It does not require a particular starting reel.
Can a fruit pile above the centre line pay?
The illustrated rules award only centre-line combinations; the partial fruit-pile awards still use that line.
Does the fruit pile trigger free spins?
No free-spin feature is shown. Its visible function is a coin payout for one, two or three qualifying piles.
Is this the Wager Gaming Fruit Slots?
