Reading the controls and stake

Wilds, scatters and the feature
The jester substitutes for ordinary symbols, but not the castle scatter. Castles can pay from two symbols anywhere; three or more trigger the feature. In the courtyard, select boxes until three matching feature symbols are revealed.

Reading a winning screen
Do not treat a highlighted line message as the total payout, or multiply an already calculated coin award by the coins-per-line setting again. At a 0.01 denomination, ten awarded coins are 0.10 currency units.
Optional gamble
After a win, the historical game offers a colour guess to double it or a suit guess to quadruple it. An incorrect guess loses the amount risked. Collecting avoids this additional gamble.

Why does the line message differ from WIN?
The message identifies an individual line award. WIN is a separate overall counter; read both with the selected denomination.
