Casino Splendido is retained here as a historical review. Its former service, licensing and country reach should not be read as current availability; the listing is marked closed and registrations are unavailable.
The original Casino Splendido review described a catalogue of slots, table games, video poker and arcade games. Its Flash access instructions and game count are historical, not a current service description.
The original review also described customer support, bonuses and payment methods. These are historical descriptions of a listing CND now marks closed, not instructions to register or fund an account.
Powered by Microgaming
Historical catalogue: the following descriptions come from the earlier review of this closed CND listing. They do not confirm that these games or providers are available through a current service.
Casino Splendido’s success is hardly surprising, especially when one considers its long-standing partnership with software giant Microgaming. The latter is well-known in the online gambling industry as it has brought about various revolutionary innovations. With over 20 years of experience in online software development, Microgaming is often praised for its games’ intuitive gameplay and interface, sleek graphics design and immersive casino sounds that don’t fall short of what one would expect to hear in an actual, land-based casino.
Despite its numerous achievements in the field of online gaming, Microgaming marches on its way towards new heights. Not only is Microgaming considered the leading software provider in the industry, but it became one of the founding members of the independent audit company eCogra, which aims at ensuring players receive the fair treatment and payouts they are entitled to.
Microgaming has developed a vast assortment of casino games ranging from video poker to classic casino staples like roulette and blackjack. Despite that, a large portion of the software provider’s popularity is to be attributed to its unique virtual slots, boasting a great variety of themes and special features. Many of them are inspired by all-time favorite films and TV series and have a flexible betting range. Microgaming’s Avalon, Thunderstruck II, The Dark Knight and Mega Moolah enjoy a tremendous popularity among slot fans. Those titles belong to the historical Casino Splendido catalogue and are not confirmed as playable through this closed listing.

Games Variety
Casino Splendido offers a massive collection, consisting of over 500 games, which combine quality, great entertainment value and many rewards. The gaming selection the casino has set up encompasses every type of game one could possibly imagine. There are hundreds of virtual slots, many premium card and table games like blackjack, roulette and baccarat as well as a satisfactory range of arcades, scratchcards and video poker variations.
The original review described downloadable and Flash versions with a practice mode. These access instructions are obsolete and are not a verified way to use a current service.
Slots
The historical slot catalogue included three-reel and video slots with wilds, scatters and bonus rounds. Such features do not by themselves establish a higher return or a greater chance of profit.
Many enticing titles go hand in hand with massive progressive jackpots that increase by the hour as a small amount of each participating player’s stake is added to the pot. The historical progressive-slot list included Microgaming’s Mega Moolah Isis, Fruit Fiesta, Treasure Nile and The Dark Knight. The latter is of special interest as it comes with a number of unique bonus features like stacked wilds, scatters that activate 15 Free Spins and a Bonus Wheel which activates the progressive jackpot.
If you are feeling nostalgic about the past, you can enjoy some quality time spinning some 3-reel, 1-line slots such as Cherry Red, Couch Potato, and Double Wammy, to mention just a few.

Roulette
No casino, be it land-based or web-based is complete without roulette, a game which has acquired a classic status and is considered an absolute must by gambling enthusiasts. Needless to say, Casino Splendido has taken the needs of roulette fans into consideration and offers them eight nifty variants of the game, available for Instant Play. Each of the roulette versions impresses with utmost authenticity and boasts an appealing graphics design which tends to make players forget they are sitting at home, in front of their desktop computers.
Fans of this game of chance can spin the wheel of European, French, American and Premier Roulette. There is also the option to play Multi-Wheel Roulette, a variant with multiple wagering opportunities which allows players to spin up to eight wheels simultaneously. The Multi-Wheel Roulette offers a personalized gaming session as players are enabled to edit the layout of the table. Spingo, on the other hand, incorporates elements of both roulette and bingo.

Blackjack
Blackjack is where Casino Splendido’s strength truly lies. Fans of the game of 21, as blackjack is frequently called, are provided with the fantastic opportunity to make their pick between 24 high-quality variants. Each blackjack variation, available at the website combines successfully a unique, soothing atmosphere and flexible betting limits so that everyone can join in the fun, regardless of their bankroll size.
There is such outstanding diversity, we simply have no idea where to start. Players, who wish to stick to the traditional variant of the game can join the Classic Blackjack table. Then again, Spanish 21, Atlantic City, Double Exposure, Vegas Strip, and Vegas Downtown Blackjack are also among the options. Many of the variations are multi-hand, allowing fans to play up to five hands simultaneously. The needs of high-rollers are not neglected, either as they can take a seat at the High Limit European Blackjack table, where bet limits range between $20 and $20,000!
Baccarat
Baccarat is yet another casino classic which combines sheer luxury, elegance and sophistication. For years, playing baccarat was largely considered a prerogative of the elite. Today, fans can enjoy it from the comfort of their homes by visiting Casino Splendido’s Table Games section, where they can choose between three variations of the sophisticated card game. We know the number is far from impressive, but believe us – the games’ quality is a sufficient compensation for the lack of greater versatility.
Engaging in the Multi-Bet variant of baccarat is beyond enjoyable as the game is played with eight decks of cards, allowing participants to place up to ten bets at the same time. Imagine what the size of your prize will be, if you place ten bets and win! High-rollers should consider joining the High Limit Baccarat table and place wagers of up to $500 each.
Poker
Poker is yet another staple no casino could do without. Once again, Casino Splendido manages to deliver as its poker selection consists of nine first-class variations of everyone’s favorite game of skill. Splendido’s poker variants combine authentic visuals, sleek animation, and immersive sound effects to create a unique ambiance which guarantees players will enjoy a high-quality, realistic gaming session.
Some of the most notable poker variations include Cyberstud Poker, 3 Card Poker, Pai Gow, Red Dog, and Poker Pursuit. Or you can opt for the fast-paced High-Speed Poker. With its flexible betting limits, the game is suitable for both experienced players and complete novices.
Video Poker
You lack the skills, patience and experience to win at poker? If so, head over to Casino Splendido’s Video Poker section where you can pick between 21 top-notch variants of the game. Video poker combines elements of the traditional card game and virtual slots, which makes it far more suitable for inexperienced players.
The historical video poker list included Jacks or Better, Deuces Wild, Aces and Faces, Tens or Better, Louisiana Double and Double Joker Poker. Wild cards and practice modes do not guarantee cash prizes.

Those, who are completely new to online gambling and have no idea how card and table games are played should consider paying Splendido’s Instant Wins section a visit. Do not be fooled by the fact the games that fall into this category are easy to play – you can still walk away with substantial profits, if luck is on your side.
With over 50 enticing arcades and scratchcards to choose from, novices will hardly get bored. The needs of bingo fans are taken into consideration as Splendido enables them to indulge in Electro, Mayan, Pharaoh, Samba and Ballistic Bingo, among others.
If you are itching to scratch some cards, you should definitely try out Cashapillar. Match three birthday cake symbols to win the prize of $10,000. Other scratchcards, available at Casino Splendido include Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey, Golden Ghouls, Halloweenies and Plunder the Sea.
Other noteworthy Instant Win games at Casino Splendido are the lottery-based Keno game, Enchanted Woods, Germinator, Premier Trotting, Wheel of Riches, and Three Wheeler.

Licensing and availability
Casino Splendido is closed. The casino shut down on 25 February 2018, when its owner TTRpartners, which also ran 32Red and Roxy Palace, decommissioned its smaller brands to concentrate on those two casinos. Review sites name Megapixel Entertainment Ltd as its operator and say it was licensed in Malta and the United Kingdom.

Great selection of micro gaming slots, a few more providers would be nice but nothing major.
No lag or disconnection during play which is always nice, great support very friendly.
Overall I was disappointed by lack of promotions, nothing here to my liking apart from the usual first deposit bonus.
They do offer the comp points/club points for wagering but you would need to wager a hell of a lot to gain anything serious from this.

Casino Splendido is basically good. It is a pity that only one provider, Microgaming. The casino is checked by the auditing company ecogra, which means that it is very reliable. There is one deposit bonus of 100%. But I did not use it. I played for my money. Won 120 euros. Payment was fast. I like it.

This casino is apparently owned by the same company that owns 32red casino and that means that it's a casino that can be trusted and will defenitly honor its players by paying out in a fairly fast manner, when I'm in Greece I play at the sister casino 3/red and if I go and visit family later on this year I think i will be regestering here as I get there, luckily I have a passport for Greece and South Africa which is great for when I want to play at casinos that may be restricted to South Africa and this Casino being associated with 32red had secured it on my top list of casinos to play at

Not very popular casino and i think it's because they dont give players often bonuses and free spins. And not investing many in promotional. But in general it looks good enough. Website loosk solid however design could be much better. They dont look unique, dont have nice idea. And it's easy to forgot them. For ex. how to forget Casino Jefe?:) It's impossible. Also they have just microgaming games and it's not enough to me, no matter that it's my favorite software. Bonuses are ok, but they are just for beginners and you will not get many great offers to your emails from them.

Seems like a decent site and the wagering on the first deposit of 50x just the bonus isnt too high. Plus the good thing is that unlike other microgaming casinos they accept players from the united kingdom!! They have a large selection of micrgaming slots and they seem to run fine with no glitches or problems loading :) the only bad thing is they dont have a live chat so you have to either email them or phone them :(

Havent played here yet, microgaming is incredible, the games are so amazing some of them, it is such a high to play them, and when you win, it is even higher, and higher, when you loose, you know that they will always pay another time when you are at a great casino that is such as Lucky Nugget, or Go Wild, so you dont go, or rather I personally dont drop too low, it is THE GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!! Micrgaming is the GAME like they say, I love those games from Microgaming Just thinkin to try this Splendido soon, :) Gloriabe

When I saw this one, I was like "oh my god, just another Microgaming casino without any shining bonus, nor the title or design, simply another "average" one, we can go further..." but then I saw the eCogra certification. That is honored by me and valued, so this casino went quite higher when I found this out :)

This casino was really paying out big time when I visited this one. I wonder if that still is the same. I almost always got a win here when I played the slots.

This place is fast and easy to navigate, but the site looks so generic, and like it used some Online Casino template. Not so bad, but they should do something about it and give it a more personal touch. I was expecting a bit more for the promotions, and at this time, they only have a new player promotion. You deposit at least 20€, and get a 100% bonus up to 120€. Standard restrictions apply, and with a 50xb WR for slots, there's little chance you will get through. I sure didn't. They do claim a 96% payout rate, but I really need a little bit more than just a number stated there. So far, I haven't had much luck, and I do love Microgaming games, and usually am not that bad at them. Will give it a try one more time, and I hope I will have more luck this time.
