The EntroPay consumer product was discontinued on 1 July 2019. See Entropay’s official notice.
This page replaces our former guide to using EntroPay at online casinos. The signup steps, funding instructions and casino acceptance lists have been removed because they would describe a service that is no longer available.
What happened to EntroPay?
EntroPay previously offered prepaid virtual cards for online payments. Its former consumer card service should not be confused with the continuing Entropay corporate entity, which is part of Nium.
Can I still deposit or withdraw with EntroPay?
Do not use the former instructions on this page to attempt a new payment. An old casino logo, review or payment-method list is not evidence of current availability. If a cashier still displays EntroPay, ask the operator to clarify its current payment options before sending money.
Old transactions and casino balances
If your question concerns money held by a casino after an earlier EntroPay payment, contact the operator through its verified support channel. Ask which withdrawal route it can accept and what account-ownership or identity checks are required. Keep your transaction references and correspondence. A payment service’s closure does not itself establish whether a particular balance or refund is recoverable.
Checking other payment methods
Our casino payment-method guides explain other types of payment. Before choosing one, check the provider’s current terms and the operator’s cashier for your country and currency. Confirm deposits and withdrawals separately, including fees, limits and processing times. A method offered for deposits is not necessarily available for withdrawals.
For local payment restrictions and withdrawal checks, see the deposits and withdrawals sections of our Australia guide and UK guide. These guides do not make EntroPay available again.
Frequently asked questions
Does the closure of EntroPay mean the casino itself has closed?
No. A payment service and a casino are separate businesses. EntroPay is described as discontinued in this guide, but that does not establish the status of any particular operator. Check the casino independently and ask it how an existing account balance can be handled through a currently supported route.
Can an old EntroPay casino listing confirm current acceptance?
EntroPay is identified as discontinued in this guide. A historical logo, video or casino list is not evidence that the service can process a new payment. Treat the old instructions as background information and check current payment options directly with the operator.
Which records should I keep for an unresolved EntroPay transaction?
Keep statements, dated receipts, transaction references and previous correspondence. Establish whether the unresolved amount is recorded with the payment service or in the casino account. These are separate balances, and a record of the original payment does not by itself establish where the money is now.
Can another payment service automatically recover my EntroPay balance?
Do not assume that a similar name, acquisition or replacement product transfers an old balance. Look for an official notice covering the specific service and your account. Avoid anyone requesting a new payment or a secret code to “unlock” funds without a verifiable official process.
What if a casino asks me to withdraw through EntroPay?
Explain that the service is discontinued and ask the operator for a supported alternative and its ownership-verification requirements. Keep the reply in writing. Do not open duplicate accounts or send an additional deposit simply because an unsolicited message claims it will release the withdrawal.

When Skrill restricted the Canadian world from gambling, I had no choice but to find a way to equip myself with a fresh deposit method to ride the tide through the cool waves of a beautiful casino. Alas, Entropay gave me the chance I needed! Entropay is a virtual visa, I got my account verified and they rose my deposit and withdrawal limits! Once done, I input my bank info and I created a new virtual visa, loaded it with my bank where the card itself creates a 16 digit number for me to use. It'll only be a mystery until I load it.....demystifying the card itself! The best part is Entropay renews my expiry whenever my existing cards expire (yes, you can hold more than one or even five). Pretty compatible for us Canadians but the downside is, everything is in US dollars so to us using CAD this is something to be "Trumped"about!

I used to be able to use Entropay to deposit. Now it clearly comes up if you load or have any funds on your Entropay card that you can NOT use it for Online Gambling. I am sure this is only for USA Players, like everything else.

I spend less time making online purchases now that I use Entropay. Everything happens in an instant and setting up an account is way easy. I’m very satisfied with the service they offer. I can use my virtual card all the time without worrying that my personal information will be disclosed.

I don’t like it that I have to reveal my bank account details to transfer money to my virtual Entropay card. It just doesn’t feel right. I’m very mistrustful of all those payment methods, but because I play online casino games, I need to use one.

Sometimes when I pay with Entropay, I avoid surcharges that some credit cards have. There is no need to wait in line to pay what I need to pay. Anything from airline tickets to online casino games, it takes a few seconds to complete the transaction.
